Large room and well lite. Good shower and the soap, shampoo, conditioner containers were all full. Daily change of towels and at least bed made - not sure if sheets changed but no biggie. Room was quiet. Breakfast was good, but at this Garden Inn there was a charge for breakfast. Small but adequate bar. It is located in the midst of lots of shops and restaurants so very convenient.

Recently started a new opportunity and had business meetings at our offices in Shirlington. My EA booked me at the Hilton Garden Inn. The hotel was clean and set up well. Very conveniently located for my meeting s in the office and a quick ride over the bridge into DC. Deborah, the Guest Services at Reception, was great to work with.

Nice stay except for the hot water issues and low water pressure .Location was exceptional. Friendly neighborhood. Excellent shops and restaurants within walking distances. Staff was friendly. Need to install USB cords in lobby for phone charging

I'm extremely allergic to pet fur. In most hotels there are specific floors for animals. I'm a disabled veteran and I am on different medications. I wish Hilton would be more considerate. The brand use to be better. Also, there is an $18 a night charge for parking. the garage is across the street on the 4th floor. It is a little inconvenient.

My husband was in the area for work. We live in southern Virginia and this WAS one of our go to hotels. The location is very convenient with a grocery store across the street and restaurants all around. The interstate is nearby. This place has literally gone to the "dogs". While staying there I saw over 8 different dogs. The Hilton brand has lowered their standards. I completely understand the need for service dogs, but I did not see one service dog. Some people have allergies to pet hair. I thought most hotels have a specific floor (1st) for dogs. I saw an owner with her dog come out of a room on the 3rd floor. Hilton can no longer claim to be the "upscale" hotel it has portrayed in the past. In the future we will stay in a hotel that cater's to humans over pets.

This was a very nice place. I was there for 2 days during a vacation. No issues with the room. The spa was not working, unfortunately. The pool is not full-sized, which is a little weird, but... Grocery store nearby.

Our family lived about two miles from hotel. This was a great location for them and very close to the freeways. Staff was very friendly, rooms were clean. Not a big fan of the parking conditions but it is Arlington, VA. Parking fees are $18.00 daily which I thought was high due to location of your car.

Our son was in a basketball tournament nearby so we stayed here for a week. It was a great central location to explore DC, Arlington, and Alexandria. There were also several great local restaurants all within walking distance and a Harris Teeter grocery directly across the street. Very easy place to stay with friendly staff and a good breakfast each morning to start the day. Would stay here again.

I was in DC on business and this place fits the bill nicely. It’s out of the way but close to most everything. Plenty of restaurants are in walking distance. The property is in great shape and the staff is very helpful and friendly. I’m a diamond Hilton honors member and I’ve got no complaints, I will stay here whenever I’m town. I highly recommend it.

We always stay here when we go to DC. 16 August, staying in room 311. We arrived late. The room stank of cigarette smoke. We called reception to advise as we didn't want them to think it was us. Only there for one night so didn't want to change that late. Spoke to reception in person(Jose?) in the morning and basically got a shrug when we suggested renting out a reeking room might not be a good idea, and how about a discount or even a free night. Anything. Nothing. We rebooked for our return on the 5th and 6th. Got an email advising they had our booking and stated "We have a meticulously cleaned guestroom just for you". That piqued my interest, so went back to them advising that wasn't the case when we were there. Silence. This is very poor service, and shows a break in communication within the staff as well.
