I was slightly apprehensive when we first arrived at the hotel - the outside could definitely do with some work. However I was pleasantly surprised when we went in. Our room was lovely and modern; the bathroom was slightly dated but clean enough. Free continental breakfast in the morning which was good enough. Couldn't have asked for more for our...

If you're looking for a fancy high-rise, this isn't it. If you're looking for a hotel that is clean, comfortable, has a friendly and accommodating staff, is in a safe location within minutes of a short metro ride to downtown, this is the one! We loved staying here. The staff of this hotel treated us like family- and it's easy...

I'm not going to lie, I was very apprehensive when we arrived at the hotel, the outside looked very dated and more like a motel. It wasn't until we actually stepped into our room that I felt ok. Bathrooms are still dated but the actual room has modern upgrades. The staff were very helpful and my husband and I appreciated...

Conveniently located near the metro, plenty of parking and large room, the Americana sports everything the business traveller needs. Breakfast is a bit Spartan but staff are friendly and helpful. This is a no-fuss hotel

This hotel offers very affordable accommodation in the Arlington area. It is very convenient to travel by metro into town. The rooms are quite spacious and the air conditioning worked well. Yes the bathroom is old-style, but it is very clean so it really didn't matter. The lift is very slow but there are stairs so it's not a problem....

We had to go to an embassy to get my son's study visa, a quick in and out. I didn't want to spend a fortune, just a clean room for the night. When we pulled in in the middle of a rainy night I started to second guess myself-this is NOT a modern looking, sleek hotel. And then we got...

We stayed in a newly renovated room which was very nice. The bathroom was not renovated but ok anyway. The hotel was located within 5-10 minutes walk from two metrostations. The area felt safe to walk around in, even in the evenings. It's a 10 minute walk to the Pentagon City shopping mall and in that area there are a...

A quick run down of what is great about this hotel. The price, the staff helpfulness, the shuttle bus to restaurant area or Metro stations, the rooms - perfectly adequate (and we were there 6 nights), a decent breakfast range, free coffee and sometimes doughnuts all day. The area was safe. We walked back from 23rd street two or three...

My wife and I called this hotel 3 days before deciding to go to DC. I spoke with Esther, a very friendly lady at the front desk and she told me that she had to call me back for there was no vacancy at that time. What's amazing was that Esther called me back that very same day and assured...
