Great suites, clean and very spacious everywhere except in the bathroom :) where any girl could use a little bit more counter space! Service is excellent. We did find the breakfast a little pricey at $12.00 per person including kids. Location is good but if you plan in visiting DC early allow for traffic ... Every bridge is very congested...

Very close to the Rosslyn metro station with a shuttle to and from the station everyday along with a prompt and courteous staff makes this hotel a great stay. The staff were very accomadating to my party. Thank you for a great stay Virginian Suites!

I have stayed here several times over the last 8 years, and it's always a nice stay. The location is just right, close to Rosslyn metro station, next to the Iwo Jima memorial and walking distance to several places to eat. They provide shuttles in the morning and the afternoon to the metro station, though it's only a 10 minute...

We were up for the internment with military honors of my stepfather at Arlington National Cemetery. I work for a company that owns a Choice franchised hotel, and got us the rooms at the not much more than the hotel's own cost, LFF rate; so at that rate, if I'd had been running the Virginian, I wouldn't have given us...

I just got back from a 3 day stay from June 30 to July 2. I booked online through the Comfort Inn group of sites and got a good rate and earned some points. Got to the property late on the night of the 30th after a LONG drive. Hotel was FULL because of the local power outages and the...

Rooms were ok but the rest of the hotel is quite shabby and needs some serious refurbishment. The service is rude and incompetant - even from the manager! Although it's cheaper than other hotels in Washington, it's still overpriced for what you get. I would not stay here again!!

As we say in Minnesota: ish. The only plus is the large size of the room. Oh, and and the beds are okay. Otherwise, this place is a dump. Other members in our group used the words "creepy" and "nasty" to describe it. The carpeting is lifting in the rooms and common areas. The bathroom is just plain old and...

Decent hotel but it needs a lot of upkeep. I will not stay here again. The air condition works average. The carpets are old. The walls are thin and the place has a slight smell.

We got a low online rate for one night at the last minute. The strengths were the cost and the size of the room. The weaknesses? Everything else. There really isn't service, per se. It's a "you're-on-your-own" kind of approach. Dingy, with very poor site management. Our AC wasn't working properly but, based on the appearance of the property, we...

My family of 5 stayed at the Virginian for about a week in mid-June. We had stayed there a few years back and though that the location was good. In addition, the hotel offers a room and ride package at competitive rates (though still expensive). The good: Our room was big enough for five people with comfortable beds, TV with...
