We had never stayed at an Inn and wanted a quaint New England Fall experience. Hill Farm Inn exceeding our expectations on every level. The property exterior is warm and inviting and the interior; immaculate and well appointed. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, especially the biscuits! I truly loved the location. Just a short drive to Manchester Village, it is set apart from other Inns, quite with spacious grounds, stunning mountain views and magnificent sunsets. The Alpaca's are a plus and so are the midnight stars! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Kate was kind and heartfelt when we told her that this was just the kind of getaway we needed coming off Covid19 lockdown in NYC and my husband getting a clean bill of health after undergoing radiation therapy! We will keep this place close to our hearts.

Oh Soujourners7... You made us blush; such gorgeous things to say about Hill Farm! We love that you picked us for your first "Inn" adventure. It makes us so happy when a bit of relaxation and time together is so much needed, and we can help a bit along the way. Come back soon, we'll be glad to see you both. Until then, be well and take care, Kate

Property's Favorite Review
We just returned from another incredible weekend at the Hill Farm Inn. We’ve been back several times now. The property is spectacular, the service is outstanding and the location is amazing. The Hill Farm Inn is a true picturesque, authentic Vermont inn. It is impeccably clean, extremely well maintained and very tastefully decorated. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious. We had a large group staying for a birthday party and everyone, young and old, raved about the experience. We especially loved the guest rooms, pub and common room with the fireplace. The barn/animals/fire pit/awesome views made the property very unique. There was a wedding at the inn at the same time. The Hill Farm team of Kate, Christina and Eric seamlessly handled all the people and all the requests. They are so nice, personable and helpful and made the stay really enjoyable. Thanks for another fantastic and memorable weekend! We’ll be back again! I highly recommend a visit.

Our 11-hour drive fron Northville, MI was well worth every minute. Kate and Eric could not have been better hosts. There are plenty of things to do at the Inn and nearby - Arlington and Manchester were great villages to walk around, the Lyly Brook Falls hike was spectacular, Mad Tom's Orchard was a treat. We will be back!

What a magical place to visit, Hill Farm Inn in Sunderland, Vermont! Kate & Eric at the Inn were a delight as was the Madeline Cottage. The cottage was spotless, well appointed with everything to make your stay comfortable & cozy. A coffee station with choices of coffee & teas as well as a refrigerator full with homemade biscotti, fresh berries, yogurt & juice for the morning. The breakfasts that were delivered each morning were unbelievable; fresh, delicious & healthy. We would not hesitate to recommend and revisit! Thanks for a great trip!

Hi Jenni! We're over the moon to read your review! You truly enjoyed all of the things we feel really *make* the Hill Farm experience; a completely gorgeous setting, unique and beautiful design (your cottage is really one of my favorite spaces!) and all the good things to do nearby. We're lucky to be in such a perfect location, and have such a good group of folks who really care about our guests, and the inn. It makes all the difference :) It was such a fun weekend and such a pleasure to host you! Hope y'all can make the trip out again. Until next time, please be well and take care! Kate

Our stay at the Inn was incredible! The grounds are lush with gorgeous scenic views and the rooms are clean and comfy. Every bit of service was exceptional from the delicious breakfasts to the drinks hand delivered to the pool! Kate and Eric are kind and attentive to every request. We enjoyed each amenity the inn had to offer: workout facility, saltwater pool and hot tub (which were super clean and well maintained), fire pit at night, the tree swing and of course the adorable alpacas! We fell in love with everything about the Farm Hill Inn and plan to be back in the Fall if not sooner! Thanks again to Kate and Eric for making our stay so special. - Michael & Rozzy
