The Inn is on a beautiful piece of land. There are places to walk or just sit and relax. The staff is helpful and courteous. The food is excellent. I have food allergies but the chef accommodated my needs. We hope to return.

Just spent 4 days celebrating my daughters wedding. Amie was incredible from start to finish, advising us on everything based on her vast experience. The venue is top notch, staff amazing and welcoming.

Everyone at the West Mountain Inn acted as if making my daughters wedding a perfect event was their #1 priority. And because they’re experts at their jobs, it was. The food was delicious, the grounds and gardens are beautiful, the people were so gracious and kind. My only regret is I have no other children who could be married here. Highly impressed.

My wife and I (and daughter) have stayed at West Mt a few times every year for the past 30 yrs! We love the people, the environment, the food and the peaceful atmosphere. Anytime we are driving within 100 miles of VT, we aim for The West Mt Inn. You can not go wrong here. Take a walk around, fly fish the Battenkill River, read a book, have some wine, enjoy a summer dinner. What more could you ask? Do yourself and your partner a favor, go to West Mt. And say hi to Amy!! Tell her I sent you! :-)

The West Mountain Inn was the perfect venue for our wedding! We are so grateful to Amie and all of the staff who helped make our entire wedding weekend so wonderful and fun! It was such a pleasant and easy experience working with Amie, the Inn's owner and wedding coordinator, throughout the entire planning process. She was so flexible, especially with our postponement due to COVID, and she provided us with an entirely customizable wedding weekend experience that fit our wedding size and priorities for the celebration. Amie helped us with recommendations for other vendors and took care of all of the other details, including rentals. The West Mountain Inn is a beautiful and secluded setting in Arlington, Vermont with mountain views and perfectly maintained gardens. The Inn itself is charming with cozy rooms and delicious breakfasts. One of the highlights of our wedding weekend was our rehearsal dinner barbecue on Friday evening followed by a welcome party for all of our guests with craft Vermont beer, donuts, and s'mores around the bonfire. Our wedding reception used so many of the great locations on the property, starting with a cocktail hour on the side lawn, a reception under a stunning sailcloth tent overlooking the mountains, and then we finished the evening with dancing and dessert in the Inn's barn. So many of our guests have told us that our wedding was the best wedding they have ever attended! We are so grateful to have started our married life in such a special way at the West Mountain Inn and we can't wait to come back to visit in the years to come. I highly recommend anyone planning a wedding in southern Vermont to book the West Mountain Inn as your venue!

My wife and I have stayed at the West Mountain Inn several times since the early 90s. When talking to other guests, we find that our experience is typical. The West Mountain Inn has many devoted customers who think of the place as their own private get-away. The Inn reinforces this image with their slogan, "You're one of the folks." While the Inn has changed significantly over the past three decades, it remains a place that is reliably cozy, friendly, charming and focussed on giving its guests an experience of good food, a warm welcome, and any help they should request. The breakfasts are not as extravagant as they used to be (and that might actually be a good thing), but they are delicious and created with attention and care. The fireplace in the living room is a wonderful place to curl up with a book after a day of snowshoeing or exploring Manchester. It is still my favorite place to go with my bride to enjoy a weekend (or longer) of quiet, calming joy.

I simply love the West Mountain Inn and it's New England charm. My wife and I have stayed there for our 4th time so far. Each time we are glad we did. Rooms are comfortable and quiet. Common room is cosy with it's fire place and comfortable furniture, great place to relax, read a book, talk or sip a drink from the bar. Dining room food and service are great as well as breakfast.

Beautiful inn, great hospitality. A very friendly and helpful staff. Each breakfast had amazing choices that tasted very good. We also ate dinner there on one of nights and had a great meal. The trails are fun to hike and I'm sure they're fun to ski if we would have had more snow. It's one of our favorite B&B's.

From the setting, to the food, to the wonderful staff you can’t beat the West Mountain Inn. The perfect place for a family get together. So much to do in the surrounding area and also the perfect place to just chill.

So much to see in the area, Robert Todd Lincoln's estate exceeded our expectations. Bennington, Bromley, Mr. Equinox, Mr. Snow and Stratton are all a short drive. The West Mountain Inn is the Cadillac of inns in the area.
