We stayed at the Arcady as a family of six and booked this hotel for a family wedding nearby. The place is rather shabby with peeling paintwork. It definitely wasn't cheap but I guess for the price, they could do more by refurbishing the place. The manager of the hotel is a young girl who is very hospitable and pleasant... More

This Lodge is in a rural quiet setting but close enough to Manchester. It requires a little update but at the price the accommodation is more than acceptable. The sheets and towels were clean. The breakfast was outstanding. Home made jam, muesli, granola and fruit cake made by Bert the owner . Eggs of your choice made to perfection.

Beautiful, quiet setting among the trees. The location is close to Manchester. Very clean, good wifi, The breakfast was fabulous. Loved the eggs and they were cooked fresh for us. The bathroom was spotless and lots of hot water. We did not use the pool but it looked clean and nice. We booked direct for a better rate.

We were greeted with a scowl and the owner tried to collect additional money from our prepaid reservation. The room was large enough and clean enough, but no amenities. Everything smelled damp and the a/c was very loud but not very effective. We were not willing to take a chance on the breakfast. If I had not prepaid, I would not... More

This little motel is run by a very capable man (Bert) who has a deep resume in hospitality and food service. The maintenance of the facilities, and quality of the continental breakfast are impeccable. And his conversation, should you have the chance, illustrates a true man of the world.

Privately owned, greeted by a young girl who basically was everything. Check in, cook, cleaning lady. Quality of the food was poor, we did not take the chance on eating eggs that sat on the counter in a corning ware dish for hours. Asked for extra linens and was told they did not have any more. Complained that for the... More

Good basic accommodations. Spotlessly clean. Crisp white sheets and towels. Plenty of hot water in shower. Good wi fi coverage. Good Verizon cell coverage. Country setting away from chaos of Manchester but still convenient. Nice pool. Surrounded by lovely trees

I stayed there for one night with my friend, for foliage view. The room is tidy and pretty. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. It's a little pity that I made there late at night, otherwise we could have explored the backyard a little bit more.

You are very nice to compliment us despite the room size. We would like to have larger rooms also and be with the time, but keeping it clean and tidy is our highest priority More

We had a last minute weekend gateway and we couldn't pick a better place. Great location, beautiful surroundings. Amazing homemade breakfast, healthy and delicious!!Room very clean. Bert, the innkeeper and owner, a wonderful host, great cook, charismatic and knowledgeable. Definitely will be back next year. I will recommend this place to friends and family.
