Wonderful bed and breakfast. The rooms are beautiful but the breakfast is the star of the show! Fresh local ingredients cooked to perfection. Close to Manchester VT as well. Hosts are so welcoming, home baked cookies in the afternoon. We will be back!

We are not a family who normally takes it easy on vacation. We always feel that to get the most out of our time, we need to stay busy. Our visit to the Ira Allen house allowed us some much needed time to relax and enjoy each others company. From the minute we walked in, it felt like we were home. We are a family of four including two adult children and can't wait to go back!! Michael and Kevin were so hospitable with their homemade chocolate chip cookie, delicious breakfast, and attention to detail. Everything is very clean and tidy!

My husband and I have visted the Ira Allen House at least 6 times. This visit was are most joyous one yet. My husband finished cancer treatment a week before. His main wish during treatment was to as he said was just to go visit the boys. Thank you Michael and Kevin for providing a wonderful respite. From start to finish Michael and Kevin performed their magic, wonderful accommodations a crackeling fire, homemade cookies. Then the best breakfasts ever with compassion of making sure my husband left with a smile on his face. Going to see Kevin and Michael is like going home. Thank you for everything we hope to see you early next year. A very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. All of our sincere appreciation Robin and Dave Britner

Recent stay here in late September 2019. We couldn't have been happier anywhere else. Michael treats you like family. The whole Inn gives you a warm, cozy feeling. The Breakfast, prepared by Michael is Amazing..more delicious food than our family could eat and Michael goes all out with the presentation of breakfast courses. All rooms and suite's have their own bathroom. They don't miss any details for comfort. We had a party of 7. Four of us stayed in Ira Allen's Two Bedroom suite, with a Living Room! Plenty of room for the other three to gather with us in the evening. Although the main Living Room downstairs offers another great place to gather by a fire on big comfy couches. They even had a set-up upstairs in the hall with an honor system frig full of refreshments and coffee station. Michael assisted us with tickets at a discount for the Hildean Estate nearby and directions. He's just a wonderfully accomodating Inn-Keeper. We will be back. Thank you Michael for our Outstanding stay!

We recently stayed here during our "leaf peeping" holiday. We loved it! Full of character and charm, and comfortable as well. Mike and Kevin were charming hosts and the breakfasts were delicious. Highly recommended.
