Brunch at the Arlington Inn, VT. Great food, well priced, friendly and unpretentious, in a historic inn setting. Don't change a thing! This is Vermont. If you are in Starbucks withdrawal, there is always touristy yuppy Manchester, just up the road. Otherwise. make it a real Vermont Sunday; enjoy a delicious brunch in the Inn's bright and cheery solarium (Breakfast and brunch are open the public - come as you are), then go for a walk along the Battenkill on River Road, just down the road. Hungry again? Head for East Arlington and stock up at the Chocolatorium, another step back in time and handmade chocolate goodness. The perfect day!

We needed to be in the Manchester, VT area for a family affair and discovered the Arlington Inn & Spa. We love the charm and history of older buildings and Arlington Inn did not disappoint. We stayed in the Parsonage next door to the main building and enjoyed the spacious Justin James Suite. This suite has a small kitchenette with a medium refrigerator, coffee maker and toaster oven should the need arise. The main room is large and comfortable. The nightly price for this room makes it a terrific value. Every night comes with breakfast in the solarium. This is not a free breakfast at a chain hotel. It is a full elegant breakfast well prepared and equally well served. If you are looking for an experience in an elegant unique historic Inn with a fine breakfast at excellent value, then we recommend the Arlington Inn & Spa. It is now on our list of places we love to go.

The new owners are doing an excellent job of making this elegant old inn into a lovely and welcoming place. Our room "Pamela's Suite" in the main house was large, clean, and freshly painted with an up-to-date bathroom. Bed and sheets are high quality. Staff was unfailingly pleasant and helpful. The breakfasts were beautifully prepared and hearty. The location is in the town center of Arlington, a quiet historic hamlet a few miles from the touristy but fun Manchester. We walked around the graveyard across the street with stones that date as far back as the 1700s. One suggestion: Most inns of this type have a "living room" with couches and comfy chairs to sit and read or talk. There is a nearly empty room that could serve this purpose. Also, the outside needs painting since it looks a little shabby while the inside is fresh and well kept. Thanks for a very nice stay!

We're delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay in Pamela's Suite as well as our wonderful staff. We are currently working on bringing the entire estate back to its original glory and have just finished remodeling our tavern and the six guest rooms in our Parsonage House. Painting the outside of the Inn is definitely on our Spring to do list and we hope to see you back for another visit soon!

My husband and I just got married at the Arlington Inn. We booked one of their elopement packages and had such a wonderful experience there. They took care of absolutely everything we could have wanted or needed and made our wedding day so special and unbelievably stress free. The inn itself is beautiful of course and the staff was beyond friendly and welcoming. I can’t stress that enough because when my husband and I shopped around on where to get married it was like other venues couldn’t care less, but the staff at the Arlington inn was beyond attentive, receptive, and made us feel wanted and special. We had a very cozy room and fire place in our room and as I said they took care of all our wedding details. I can’t say enough about what a wonderful experience our stay was, and would recommend visiting for pleasure and especially for a wedding!

We went to the Arlington Inn & Spa for our anniversary and it was a great experience! The room in the parsonage was perfect, with a beautiful recently remodeled bathroom (the tile in the shower and floor is beautiful!), and a very comfortable bed. We loved the small porch and sat there in the evening to enjoy the fireflies. The breakfast was delicious, too. The buttermilk pancakes were perfect and my husband enjoyed his French Toast. We will be back for their Sunday brunch sometime soon! We hope to make this a regular spot now that we live in these parts.

What can we say? We went here for our wedding and signed up for the elopement package. Cheryl arranged for the Justice of the Peace, marriage license, wedding cake, flowers, and photographer. She is the best. We picked a room in the Carriage House ( Victoria's Garden Retreat ) which was great. Super good staff, very polite and helpful. Highly recommend

Arlington Inn has long been a great spot to stay and eat in SW Vermont. We stayed there when looking for our new home and have eaten there on MANY occasions. Currently, the new owners have had occasional, special "holiday meals" and all I can say is they've outdone themselves each time. The food is delicious, it is bountiful and the service staff could not be more professional, courteous and attentive. I can heartily recommend eating at one of their holiday dinners/brunches, at their daily breakfasts and staying here for a true New England experience.

We live in nearby Manchester and had heard the Inn was now serving breakfast to the public so we decided to give it a try. It was a wonderful experience, extremely friendly, attentive and helpful staff. No sooner had we sat down than they filled our coffee cups and put warm homemade muffins in front of us. I had the big fluffy blueberry pancakes and bacan, my husband had the special, a southwest breakfast bowl with two eggs on top. Both meals were so generous in size that we took half home with us. We will definitely be back! We highly recommend this place.
