Let me start by giving credit where credit is due, to the staff who made the stay absolutely perfect. While everyone was wonderful, Alfred is one who deserves added praise. He made every encounter memorable and has even helped after the stay by forwarding his recipe. It is the people/staff who make or destroy any stay and the people like Alfred definitely made this a stay we will repeat. Additional positives: - ski-in/ski-out with assigned heated lockers and exceptional complimentary lattes, espressos to hot cocos at the touch of a button. The convenience was perfect every day. - dining from breakfast to dinner. My husband and I switched to a plant-based diet (don't role your eyes, I too laughed at my friends who made this choice until I took an analytical approach to health). Needless to say, dining is more challenging, but the kitchen there was up to the task with every meal. So I can only imagine the the meat, fish, etc are equally exceptional. - washer/dryer access. For those who ski, especially if you're traveling with a family, this is a must. - game room. While this is theoretically a place for the kids, it is a place equally enjoyed by adults. From pool and ping-pong to pinball and skeet ball. It was great. - weight room was first class but a tad small if there are more than just a few people (this would be the only area which could improve slightly as the weight room could be the size of the yoga studio). - skiing only without the "keeping up with the Joneses" of Deer Valley (Deer Valley is also nice, but a little too blue blood for those of us who made our own money rather than inheriting it). No real cons. Flying in and out of Salt Lake was easy and we were at the hotel about 30 minutes after leaving the airport. The skiing was better than anywhere else we have been in Utah. Definitely worth it for those riding the fence on whether or not to pull the trigger. Enjoy, we did.

Snowpine Lodge is probably one of the best ski in/out hotels! The newly renovated hotel is luxurious, warm and cozy, with top notch amenities. They thought of EVERYTHING- heated ski lockers, game room, spa, heated pool and hot tubs, complimentary coffee/tea/hot cocoa and cookies, and breathtaking views.. to name just a few. You can just wear your hotel slippers to the lockers, gear up and ski right out! Great option to return for lunch/dinner and also enjoy apres ski events. Super family friendly too! The ENTIRE staff is truly exceptional, extremely hospitable and attentive. I can't wait to go back!!

Snowpine Lodge is by far one of the best five star resorts! Everything from the rooms, the food, the spa, the amenities and the service were spectacular. This quaint 50 room hotel offers personal service beyond anything I have experienced and I have travelled the world. The rooms were very comfortable, had great beds and beautiful views right on the mountain. The ski lockers and ski rentals right down stairs as you head out to the slope made it seamless. Renting skis took 2 minutes and they spent a half hour fixing my personal uncomfortable boots that needed a “boot doctor”. For no charge. When we came in from skiing in the afternoon we were greeted with homemade, warm chocolate chip cookies. They had wonderful sitting areas on every floor with couches, TVs and tables to do work. They were only about 10 to 12 rooms on each floor so it was like having your own living room area to hang out in the afternoon. If you have children, the game room was amazing. It was the original stone from the salt mine with foosball, ping-pong, Brio train for the little kids, pool table etc. and a pool and hot tub outside was a great way to end the day. The spa was my personal favorite. The grotto hot tub and the oxygen after skiing was incredible and revitalizing after soaking my poor muscles in the hot tub. The relaxation room was one of the best I have seen. It was so comfortable and relaxing. The food was great. The breakfast bar was the perfect way to start the day, their pizza at lunch and Greek salad was amazing! We ate one dinner in the main dining room and that was great with the head manager greeting us at every turn throughout the hotel, at dinner, coming in from skiing and at the front desk. The staff was incredible. I have never met more people that were so nice and wanted to give excellent service. They had a free coffee, tea, hot chocolate bar in the front lobby which helped my sore throat. They had a shuttle to take us to all of our dinner reservations and offered to go to the drugstore to pick up whatever we needed. And to boot, and the manager skied a few runs with us on our first day to show us the off the beaten, steep Extreme skiing runs on the mountain. What a special place. The service was better than most five star resorts I have experienced!!!

This new hotel is absolutely beautiful but honestly it is the exceptional service that sets it apart. The staff - Dave, GinnieMarie, Matthew, Sean - all take a super personal approach. With only 50 or so rooms they can. Easy ski-in/ski/out with ski shop in the hotel for rentals and a great great spa. I would stay there again in a heart beat. All the rooms also have big hang out “living rooms” at the end of the hall so plenty of space. Didn’t have my kids this time but there is very impressive game room: ping pong, football, pool, leather couches to hang out, climbing area for little kids and a lot more. I have stayed in a lot of top notch hotels but on this one I come back to the service. Very impressed and I’m not that easily impressed. Well done Snowpine!
