The room was charming but so noisy from 6th street sounds it was impossible to sleep. The desk manager gave no indication our room would be this way nor did she provide any other options. Nice location but not considering another stay st the Driskill.

Had a wonderful stay. From the time I check in to the services the Driskill offers. The great thing is the location of the Driskill. Close to everything capital,6th street and all the restaurants. Great stay

One of the most Beautifully renovated historic hotels I ever visited. The staff cannot do enough for you. The lounge and bar area keeps with the Texas theme while being comfortable. Food at the Driskill Grill is fantastic as is the cafe and its homemade baked goods.

Beautiful hotel with great food, drinks and history. But room 513 is awful and it's a junior suite so it's considered an upgrade and trust me it costs more. Not worth it!! It's dark and gloomy with one window that you have to look up to see the light of day. Depressing...... I have to have sunlight and open views...

This was our first experience at the Driskill. The service by waiters and valet staff is exceptional. The hotel is well kept and the architecture is beautiful. I would stay there again anytime we are in Austin.

This hotel is really special and unique, a little like Austin itself. We had a Junior Suite which had a huge balcony overlooking 6th street. The room was quirky, spacious and very comfortable. As well as the amazing marble adorned lobby, and sumptuous bar the bakery/restaurant was fantastic, as was its staff and particularly manager Mitch who typifies the warmth...
