Very nice and remodeled hotel They have updated lobby area, outside terrace with a very good taste. Rooms are big with new bed linens. Starbucks coffee location inside the hotel. Arboretum has a lot of shopping and Restaurants to walk. Price was kind of high because the Austin city limits festival. Parking can be better.

Stayed here for a conference. Nice hotel. 3rd floor with city view (which was garage roof LOL). No problem as on business, who needs a view? Very quiet floor despite having 9 story atrium outside my door. Only one restaurant in hotel plus a deli for snacks and coffee. But within 5 minute walk about 5 local and chain restaurants...

We were in Austin for a conference at the convention center. We ended up at the Renaissance because our conference reserved a room block and the hotels near convention center were sold out. This was my first time staying at a Renaissance hotel so I want sure what to expect. This hotel is beautiful inside. It has what I can...

Platinum Marriott member and stay over 200 nights a year. Usually don't get Renaissance hotels so was a nice change. Room was large and had a great Southern view of downtown and the hills. I was on the 9th floor with the concierge lounge. Breakfast was alright with a good selection. Avoided the evening meal and chose to walk to...

My review is based on the fact we were on a holiday visit to Austin. The hotel in my opinion is for businessmen and events. The facilities (only one restaurant) are too small for anything else and are too small for the size of the hotel. If you want a good clean room to spend the night and intend to...

The hotel is beautiful from what we saw. There is a spot in the back where weddings can be held - though there are some odd cow figurines to the left/in the background. The food at the wedding was delicious! I'm not sure if it was hotel catered or not... However, the bar area for their weddings is AWFUL. The...

We are highly disappointed in our room, our food, & the overall level of service from this establishment. On our business trip, my roommate & I had a very poor experience, from our food to our billing and even to the way we were addressed over the phone. Won't be coming back. One would think that if guests have a...

I had a business trip to Austin, so I stayed at the Renaissance. It is very modern in the inside and the rooms are huge. I had a problem on the 3rd night, When I got back to my room there was a horrible smell and had to be moved to another room. The staff is friendly and the concierge...

A very large hotel with nice beds. The patio bar is also very large with a nice view. I loved that the toiletries were Aveda products. There is no breakfast offered though, which was an issue when it came to attending an early morning meeting. We had to wait for the cafe area to open up, and were offered limited...

Staff is very helpful. The room was awesome, the modern decoration really inspires you. Located on a very convenient area where you will find nice restaurants and shops. All i can say is that my family and I did enjoy our stay.
