The hotel is really nice and the staff is awesome. If you're looking for a quite place to sleep close to Austin, this hotel is a good choice. However, it is really far away from the city center. You'll need a cab for approximately 35 dollars to get there. Slightly annoying are the very slow elevators in the hotel.

First Impression was "This is an old Embassy Suites" I can tell they upgraded to fit standards, however just didnt have the "Renaissance" Look. Expected a little more. Pros: Good Eats around area, quick in and out of Austin area, as this is located away from the city (No traffic). Great views of Austin at Night. and Great general views... More

This remains my hotel of choice in Austin whether I'm traveling for business or just a leisure trip with my dog. The hotel and the staff are amazing and Pet friendly!!! Complete with a complimentary treat/toy bag their 4-legged guests. The rooms are impeccably clean and well appointed. The room rates are a bit high but offset by the amenities.... More

The hotel is very nice, and very pricey (even having a conference discount). Location: the surroundings are also very nice (green trails, the Arboretum) and the hotel is in the middle of a out-door mall, with many dinning options. Across the street other set of shops. One of them a Trader Joe (excellent). A little more distant, there is a... More

Nature trails, wildlife, relaxing music and indoor out door pools. The BEST hot tub jacuzzi yet! This hotel is perfect. You can have the best of both worlds. Relax and enjoy or shop at nearby stores or hit the awesome, happening downtown. Very modern in decor- fire pit and great food! Very clean and excellent service. Only advice is call... More

Overall one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at. I'm kind of torn between 4 and 5 stars, but I'll go with 5. I'd definitely stay here again. The service was very friendly from everyone I encountered. The rooms are good size and modern. Bathrooms are very clean and in good condition. Internet (using high speed option) was very good,... More

The rooms are very good and clean. Bathrooms especially good. The service is super and the coffee is great - I was expecting brown water! The staff were great with only one tiny problem - Taxis... rarer than hens teeth in Austin after the Uber ban! Always reserve a taxi a day before!!!

The hotel was spacious and the staff extremely helpful. No dresser drawers so had to keep some items in suitcase for the four day stay. The coffe machine is extremely old and makes one cup. It splatters water as it dispenses. An upgrade is in order. Some of the elevator button lights did not work so guests were guessing if... More

The hotel is good for conferences, and the nearby area has a few spots for eating and shopping within a walking distance. The rooms are nice, but my room had no drawers for clothes, which was quite strange. Overall, what you can expect from a Renaissance hotel - very nice.

Been there for a conference. The hotel is kept clean & tidy all the time - rooms, corridors, public area, conference rooms, swimming pool and gym. The bed (king size) was comfortable and all room amenities were OK. Can't vouch for the hotel restaurants as I did not eat there. There are some shops in the neighborhood, in walking distance...
