I am a lifetime Platinum Marriott rewards spending over 1,000 nights in hotels over my last 25 years. For the first time, i had a Murano glass necklace stolen from my hotel room. I reported immediately to hotel security where they stated they would research and revert. They never have responded, despite me goign to the front desk needing more data and asking to file a police report which they did not want to do. I am our a invalaube keepsake and the hotel has yet to even respond to a single inquiry. DO NOT STAY HERE and i am questioning all of my loyalty to Marriott if this is the treatment when things go wrong. Shameful at best.

We love the Renaissance Austin! Grady is a fantastic shuttle driver and bellman. We love the spacious rooms and service. The fire pit and outdoor lounge is fun. Weekday breakfast in the lounge is good but I wish it were available on the weekends.

First stay at this property in a few years. Overall a nice stay. Plenty of free parking. Great location for just about anything in Austin. Rooms were nice. Exec lounge is now on the first floor and is wonderful. I'd stay again for sure.

Ethan was a great shuttle driver! Awesome service. He took to and from places we needed to go several times and was very friendly and a great driver. Punctual, responsive, and gave us his number so we could contact him when we needed a ride back.

I have stayed here multiple times in the last 2 months - this is a very convinient location to my work place. Easy access to Uber, etc. Check In is a breeze. Rooms are very spacious and since i have Titanium elite - i get upgraded usually. Fast internet, good light, clean bathrooms. So no complaints. The R Club is well stocked and staff is very nice. Everyone serves with a smile. Fantastic Gym - i use it regularly. They also have a Peloton room which is awesome. Nice bar and restaurant (though limited menu). The pillows are on the soft side in the room. Good place will stay again

This property was on the "downward escalator" the last time I stayed--a few years before the pandemic. But its been remodeled, cleaned up and is MUCH IMPROVED. In fact, everything about the hotel is better--with one notable exception. The hotel's restaurant is simply awful. Service is slower than the ice age and the food is terrible. I cannot remember a breakfast with more grease on the eggs, bacon and even splattered all over the toast. As we had a free breakfast included (Titanium level guest), we visited for a second weekend morning (Sunday). It was better then (different cook?). The lounge is very nice and the lady in charge (Bri) is just about as nice and helpful as you can find. I'd give her five stars! Room was nice--remodeled and clean. Parking--as always is free. And hotel is convenient to everything via 183, MoPac and 360. Will stay again!
