I travel extensively throughout Texas and have the opportunity to stay in some wonderful places. Austin is one of my favorites and the Renaissance is one of the reasons why. Convenient to everything in North Austin. Fantastic staff - wonderful service - great rooms and everything you need to make your stay a luxurious experience. I would not change a... More

I love this place! It's always clean the staff is great and it's close to so many great restaurants! Great place to bring the family for a weekend staycation for sure. No resort fees, yet the presence makes you feel like you at a resort style hotel. The hotel isn't to far north and easy access to 1 south if... More

We stayed here the last night of our trip and it was by far the best hotel we stayed at. The room was very clean and modern. There are several places to eat within walking distance. And the kiddos had a blast playing in the indoor pool (it was raining).

Spacious hotel with large inside courtyard. Corridors face the coutyard a nice change compared with dark corridors. Rooms are large and comfortable. On the negative side, wifi and breafast are pricey and not included and not a single bottle of water is complimentary.

Came to stay at this hotel on a business trip and was absolutely amazed at how beautiful and big the building was. It has a very modern feel which is perfect for people who are travelling on business trips like me, or who are with family members. The rooms are spacious and the beds are incredibly comfortable. Unfortunately, you have... More

Have spent many TABs at the location, if you are in the Arboretum area this is the hotel to stay at. They have done some major upgrades and it shows. Front desk and staff are second to none very professional at every level. Marriott lounge is excellent, great happy people taking care of Marriot elite customers. Only negative, I needed... More

Very big, nice and comfortable hotel in Austin. There are lots of trees around the hotel. Very small lake just behind the hotel. Some small shops and restaurants around it. We used executive lounge and we loved its breakfast and dinner. This place is best for the big conferences. They have lots of meetings room.

I stay at a lot of Marriott properties. Some are great, some are pretty standard. The Renaissance brand is usually just right for me. Usually has a good restaurant, and often a concierge floor. This Renaissance has that and more! It feels like they have updated recently, as the lobby and bar are pretty swanky. The fire pit outside is... More

We needed a place to stay for one night in the Austin area. We were originally looking downtown, but decided to look further north. I used to stay in the Renaissance for business travel quite often and liked it, but remembered the rooms feeling old and rundown. They must have renovated, because the room was VERY nice! It felt like... More

It has a great patio and bar. The rooms are well appointed. Some parts are a bit outdated. Full service hotel. Nice amenities for the price. Resteraunt not very good. The solarium roof is nice. I would stay again.
