This was a depressing experience. First, the rooms with atrium facing windows are dark and receive no sunlight. Noise from the atrium can be heard in the room and on two nights, there were events with intoxicated attendees whooping it up with screams that disturbed sleep. Security was non existent in managing the conventioneers with large meetings appearing to be... More

Room 237 & 313: This has been one of our favorite places to stay in the Austin area and this stay was no exception. We upgraded to an Executive suite on two separate dates recently, as the rates were very reasonable at the time we were traveling through. When we entered room #237 our jaws dropped at the spacious room... More

Love this Hotel and the view from the hallway from our Room. Will definitely come back and will stay in the same Hotel. Loving being a Marriot member! Love the staff and good thing there's a Starbucks inside the Hotel lobby! :)

This hotel is classic and yet moving forward to make sure in every way as a person who is there for a night or more ...you feel at home. The STAFF is amazing, the food... very AUSTIN. Most importantly is innovation... the new methods on food delivery and the selection are tasty and healthy... most of all priced to fall... More

I stayed at the Renaissance for a conference. The hotel is quiet, clean, and beautiful. The room was quite spacious -- we had two large beds and a great TV. There's lots of little stores and restaurants by the hotel, including a Barnes & Noble and Cheesecake Factory, great for exploring on a slow day. The conference facilities are at... More

I just finished a 3 night stay at the Austin Renaissance hotel and I'm overwhelmed with a feeling that a group of completely uncaring renovation people showed up here, tried to rebuild what is obviously a property that once belonged to a different chain, then left without actually testing what they did. There are many, many functional things very wrong... More

Have stayed at this hotel at least once a year for 10 years or so. This visit did not disappoint. Bath had been updated and was very nice and the king bed was very comfortable. Staying on the 9th floor with breakfast buffet included was a bonus, choices were good and staff on hand very nice and polite. Would recommend... More

We stayed at the Renaissance hotel due to the Priceline express deals and we were satisfied. Upon arrival we were given the option to self park or valet and valet is the better option. We were traveling with a infant so they placed us on the second floor which was close to the pool. I ordered room service, it was... More
