I stayed at an Omni in Dallas once. It was a newer hotel and I actually enjoyed my stay from what I could recall. This, however, in Austin, was quite a surprise. First, the overall room decor and design is supremely dated compared to other Austin hotels (and I've stayed at quite a few). And most of the rooms, including...

Thank you for your comments. Our goal is to provide quality service in a safe environment. We currently do not allow delivery people to have access to our guest room floors. This is to help provide a safer environment for our guests and associates. We do appreciate the feedback.

Great facilities, however they will ot honor school Sales Tax exempt forms. They honored the Hotel/Motel Tax Exempt but I had to pay state sales tax on parking and Internet usage even though I had the proper forms

Really nice property. Comfortable rooms, and excellent service. Peet's coffee in the lobby. Nice meeting rooms and banquet rooms. First class smoking section for cigars, etc. that sits away from the street, but is covered and outdoors. Very well located, a block from 6th street.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Omni Austin Hotel Downtown! The structure itself is so different than any property I have stayed in before! The atrium style lobby was very open and inviting. I wish it had been warmer, because the view by the pool is stunning! During check in, the front desk staff was very quick and efficient...

This will most likely be the last time I stay at an Omni. The price was in the luxury hotel range, with little luxury or guest amenities. No hot tub, pool not heated, no refrigerator, no robes, cleaned room way to late into early evening, room to warm, gift shop not what you would expect for luxury. Just not impressed.

I was scheduled for a one night stay. Had reserved a regular room after and was surprised and elated to discover upon arrival that I was upgraded to a suite. The suite made all the difference in that the front room allowed me to conduct my business meeting in an informal and private environment that was very conducive to our...

The good - location is on the east side of downtown Austin. Downtown Austin is basically split by Congress Ave. But most of the restaurants and activities being from 2nd St to 6th St. The Omni sits on 8th. So not as well located as most, but still walkable. The good - service was great on everything we asked for....

Nice hotel, nice large beds, large bath tub. It has a Rooftop pool. Beds sheets are cool and clean for a good nights sleep. Water temperature was very good. Lots of large plush towels too. Fitness are was also nice. It would have been nice if they had a public hot tub to go with the beautiful pool.

1st class all the way. Great luxury rooms, accommodating staff , from front desk to valet who made accommodation for my oversize vehicle something other hotel's would not even consider. Very nice luxury rooms. not cheap but you get what you pay for. Budget hotels miles away were within 25% of my room rate and I didnt need a cab...

Outstanding hotel and has all the services. Interestingly this hotel is also an office building, but because one is on one side and vice versa, there are no issues. Central to Austin business district and Capitol areas. Great service and food.
