I did not want to have to resort with this but after a bad experience, I filled out their survey that was sent to me and asked to be contacted so we could resolve some issues that I feel made my stay less than desirable. No response. I have filled out a form on the Hilton website 3 times asking...

Thank you for your comments. We're disappointed that the aspects of your stay were not satisfactory. Unfortunately, given our current renovations, some of our facilities are in temporary locations. We've done our best to inform all our guests as to the status of our renovations by way of banners posted on our website and alerts on confirmation emails. I apologize...

The hotel was not appropriate to stay in. I was allowed to check out with no fees. I should have received a disclaimer separate from the small writing in the stay reminder about the construction. I would not recommend staying here unless you can verify the renovation is complete. Looks like it will be acceptable after the renovation.

Even though there are banners and signs on the website indicating that the lobby is undergoing redesign they do not even begin to cover the extent of the work being done. Imagine your typical Embassy Suites lobby and atrium. Then take that image apply the end of humanity give or take 10 years or so. With its gray, apocalyptic visage...

Given the conditions of the total reconstruction, the hotel should not have been rented and should have been closed. At a minimum, guest should have been informed of the reconstruction and given discounts. The entire hotel was under construction. There was heavy equipment and concrete work inside. The entire inside was gutted.

Unless you relish the taste of dust in your mouth, and enjoy standing for a cold, paper-wrapped pre-cooked biscuit for breakfast, I would choose another hotel. This one is undergoing a major renovation and will not be guest-worthy for several more months.

I should have been told in May when I made the reservation that the hotel would have no services. Rooms were fine but it was literally like going into the side entrance of an apartment building. Their free happy hour was chips and popcorn and local beer. No place to sit! Pretty weird. One night, they sent a letter under...

My wife and I have stayed here for almost two decades during our occasional trips to Austin. We like the venue. The staff is great, especially the breakfast and reception personnel.T However, we booked for 4 nights recently and left after two nights. Yes, the Hilton.com web page says that the hotel is undergoing renovation, However, it says that the...

Company business trip in July 2016. Limited (3 type of tacos) and non-rotational daily complimentary breakfast. No facility. AirCon vent in room is vibrating and noisy; unable to have a decent sleep. Single lift and long wait time. Valet left my bags on the sidewalk instead of helping to wheel my bags to the carpark. For the price paid and...

We were not made aware of construction. Missed parking in garage because of signage. Unable to turn around because of 5 0'clock traffic in Austin and location on South Lamar, a busy thoroughfare. Therefore had to use valet. Maybe should have been competed for that. Front desk knew! But no offer. Otherwise a good stay.
