Austin is unapologetically original and wonderfully winsome — Texas’ capital city manages to be both rowdy and refined. In Domain NORTHSIDE, the eight-story boutique Archer Hotel Austin fits right in with rustic-luxe guest rooms that have five-star bedding, nightly turndown treats and a complimentary in-room Nespresso® coffee experience, plus an enviable patio culture and no shortage of sincere Southern hospitality. Joining Archer is the acclaimed Second Bar + Kitchen restaurant and celebrated chef David Bull, who oversees all culinary experiences for guests who choose to celebrate or meet at Archer Austin. It's part of the exciting expansion of The Domain, an exclusive fashion and culinary destination in northwest Austin. It’s slated to feature more than 220 retailers and restaurants, including Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, RH Gallery from Restoration Hardware and the new energetic Rock Rose district with a mix of homegrown shops, dining and Viva Day Spa — all just steps from Archer.

First time staying at the Archer, and it did not disappoint! Staff was friendly and attentive. Hotel and room appearance better than we expected. Interesting and attractive Texas-style decor. The bed and bedding were wonderful! It has a lovely pool, but we only looked at it. We did Happy Hour in the hotel bar/restaurant and enjoyed the food, beer and wine. We walked all over the Domain, which is full of various eateries, bars, and high-end shops. We had free parking in the Nordstrom garage, very close to the hotel. We never needed to use our car until it was time to go. Will definitely go back!!

My husband and I stayed here with our 2 dogs. We are always pleased with the friendly and accommodating staff, but this time they went above and beyond. After checking in, we realized that there seemed to be a water leak underneath the bathroom sink. We mentioned it to to Sam at the front desk as we left for dinner. He said he would have the engineers check it while we were gone. As we arrived back from dinner, Sam greeted us apologizing that they could not fix the leak immediately. But he promised us a room upgrade, and a bell hop to help us move our things. Steve came and helped us load and told us that we had been moved to one of the best rooms in the hotel. And indeed, it was amazing! Then when we had to leave at an ungodly early hour, they arranged to have our car brought up and one of the front desk staff to come up and help us load! This is why we keep returning to the Archer!

We live in Austin but decided to have a little two night staycation at The Archer a Hotel and had a wonderful time!!! Customer service was awesome and the room was very nice and comfortable! There are so many good shops and restaurants at The Domain that it’s easy to stay for two days and never leave The Domain property. Rock Rose Street is very lively with bars and clubs if that’s your thing. The Viva Day Spa is literally right around the corner from The Archer. The IPIC is in walking distance if you feel like reclining and watching a movie while being served drinks and food. And, Topgolf is a short drive across the street! And then of course you can get out and explore all that our awesome city of Austin has to offer!
