We spent our wedding night here and decided to return for our First Anniversary. Boy were we impressed. The hotel is under new management and we were treated with such hospitality and felt very welcome. The location is wonderful for spectacular views of the hill country around Austin. The stand alone bath tub was incredible! A Must Stay when visiting Austin, TEXAS!

This is a beautiful hotel in the Italian style. The atmosphere is friendly and warm and courteous starting at the front desk The view from the top of this hill is magnificent. It is a short trip to Bee Cave and Dripping Springs. Turn down service was offered in the evening. The bar and snacks offered on Thursday evenings were very good. The restaurant menu looked amazing although we did not eat there. This would be a lovely place for an event like a wedding.

My wife and I stayed here for Valentine’s Day and it was perfect. The rooms are quite comfortable and the hotel ambiance is very relaxing, yet upscale. Instead of trying to fight crowds at a restaurant, we just ordered room service, ate in our room, and enjoyed the view out the window with good food and a nice bottle of wine. My steak was not done quite right, so they promptly made another one and brought it up, along with a free torte for dessert to make up for the inconvenience. The bed was very comfortable, and breakfast in the room was delicious. All in all, we had a great stay. The only criticism I have is that they charge for parking. There is a very large parking garage next to the hotel used for the nearby Apple office, so there is ample parking, and in this part of Austin you typically should not have to pay for parking. But, that aside, I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was very nice, and the views were great. We didn't eat at the hotel, so I am not sure how the food was. The service we received was fine. There is a $14/day charge for parking even if you self-park, which is a little strange because the parking lot was completely empty all weekend. The beds weren't the most comfortable beds that I have ever slept in, and the pillows did not have much fluff to them. All in all, it was a nice place to stay for a weekend getaway.

We were in Austin for a wedding and the wedding party stayed here. It's a beautiful luxury hotel with a restaurant, spa, fitness center and a salt water pool. The rooms were excellent with good quality wi-fi, a huge shower, a safe, a stocked mini-bar, microwave, a mini-Keurig, a couple of chairs and a table. Plenty of room. The one downside was the pillows. Not large pillows like one would expect on a king-size bed but two very thin pillows and two very fluffy pillows. Several people in the wedding party were complaining that they weren't comfortable. I was able to make them work for me (and I was so exhausted every night that it didn't really matter) but it's something that could be improved. The only other detraction from a flawless stay that we experienced was on Sunday morning. They serve coffee in the lobby and it's good coffee. They have several different roasts. On Sunday morning, after many in our party had been out partying until the wee hours the night before, they pulled the coffee service before 11am! What the what?! Other than those two small things, we had a great time. I'd recommend this as a place for a romantic weekend for sure. We never did eat in the restaurant so I can't speak to the quality but if you never wanted to leave for a weekend (or longer), there would be no reason to do so. It's not an inexpensive place to stay and I sure wouldn't stay there on a business trip. But for a romantic special occasion, it would be perfect.
