The hotel is situated on the outskirts of Austin on a hill and offers nice views of the hill country and the city itself in the distance. We got a junior suite which consisted of 2 rooms, a small kitchenette and a spacious bathroom with a walk in shower. The hotel has a gym and an average size pool as well as a game room with a pool table and some board games. Overall a very pleasing property that opened in 2015 and is styled after a Tuscan villa. My biggest problem with this property and its sister property in Houston is service. It took almost an hour to get breakfast because the restaurant only had one server. When the food came out it was cold. Hot tub was not working. Pool bar closed early and this was a 4th of July weekend, mind you. Took a long time to get food by the pool. We overheard staff talking how short handed they were. Same issues at the Houston property, when we went there for lunch couple of years ago. Housekeeping is upon request only and they did not do a good job when we asked for the room to be cleaned. Again, good rooms, good location, good value, subpar service. Austin is beginning to get a number of good hotels so next time we will try either the JW or the Fairmont.

My wife and I visited this hotel as a getaway from our 4 kids (aged 11-14) so we could have quality time together, It is a great hotel with friendly staff and Italian-themed decor. It has a wonderful view of the Hill Country depending on where your room is located, The only complaint I would have is that their prices appear to have gone up since before the pandemic. Their hotel is also under new management that was not able to locate our prior reservation before the pandemic. The Room Manager was gracious in honoring our prior reservation price since we pre-paid for the room that was never used as we had to postpone the stay due to COVID closures, However, this had no impact on our wonderful experience. I would recommend this hotel, which I would consider more on the pricer side, but worth it, as the rooms and bedding are very comfortable and relaxing, We also enjoyed the live entertainment they provided, One handicap we did have is we usually like to get ice for the bucket provided in our room, and none of the hotel floors had an ice machine, so we had to get ice from the bar on the first floor while our room was on the 9th floor. I believe the front desk staff told me this was a change due to COVID. The bar staff was very friendly as well. Please visit this charming and romantic hotel and enjoy the beauty of the hotel, the staff, and the Austin Hill Country surroundings.

This is truly a hidden paradise in the Hill Country outside of Austin, TX. Our Room Manager, RYAN, contacted me prior to our visit and went well above and beyond to make our stay nothing short of magical. Rose pedals in our room, a bottle of sparling wine by the bed, and chocolate covered strawberries were just the start of our amazing weekend. Impeccable bar service and an "all day menu" (you've got to have a Wagyu Cheeseburger) meant we never even had to leave the hotel. Ryan even made sure we had dinner reservations in the hotel's restaurant. You don't need a reason to book a stay here. If you want 5 start service and top tier accommodations, the Hotel Granduca, Austin is the place to go.

Had a wonderful stay. Surroundings are peaceful and relaxing. Michael, Francesca, Abe & Serena made us feel very special and attended to all of our needs. Room #904 was very spacious and quiet. Gym equipment was top notch. The margarita pizza was excellent, fresh and pure ingredients.

Just needed to get away from the house so got a great suite at the Hotel Granduca. Loved the soaking tub! Enjoyed two nights relaxing away from the daily grind. The Risotto was great for dinner and ask Michael about the ports they have for after dinner drinks. Iggy served an awesome Manhattan on the patio prior to dinner. Very quiet location and we will be back when the it's not raining to enjoy the pool
