Snuck away to south Congress hotel to treat myself to a quiet birthday retreat and it was everything I'd hoped it would be. The staff was incredible, the food was top notch, the love was undeniable. Spent my whole day lounging at the pool and feeling like a queen!

A fun stop in Austin with a comfortable suite. Decor could use a little sprucing up and beware a crowded pool area but the staff are very accommodating and the food in Cafe No Se was well done. We enjoyed the comfort of our dining area within the suite and ordered in some excellent food, using the speaker in the dining room to pump out some good tunes from our phone.

My husband and I stayed overnight for a change of scenery. Every member of the team, from reservations and beyond were excellent. The property is lovely and has an edgy modern look with a warm, friendly feel. The pool was relaxing with a very attentive bartender/attendant and great music (not the hellish bass heavy stuff played at many rooftop pools). We were given a surprise gratis upgrade to the MIlton suite which was mind blowing. It is almost 1000 square feet including an enormous patio balcony with views of both South Congress action and the pool beneath. The soaking tub was luxurious, as were the linens that lent a relaxing nights sleep. We look forward to returning!

Good Morning Mobock, Thank you for choosing South Congress Hotel for your pandemic staycation, and for taking the time to write this review. It was such a pleasure having you and your husband with us, and do hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back when we are in full swing. The Milton Suite is quite the show stopper and the perfect setting to escape everything that is going on right now with Covid19. All of our suites, including the ever-popular Congress Suites, share many of the same features of the Milton, with large soaking tubs, patios that overlook the booming South Congress and those delicious Matteo LA Linen Bed sheets. Being able to provide an atmosphere that provides solitude during such unpredictable times is what keeps us going and we are here for you for your next escape. See you soon! Hanna

Very convenient to all things South Congress and downtown Austin. Booked the room through third party website. When I arrived, I was notified that my room was having a/c issues. The only other room available in the hotel according to the front desk was a “bunk room” - a room with two sets of bunk beds. Kind of weird, but still queen sized beds. The stay was fine. Just one night, and I did not take advantage of the breakfast which I presume was edited to suit Covid-19 protocols. The front desk clerks at check in and check out were really nice, and overall cleanliness was good. Would have liked to have seen hand sanitizer available at both the front desk and in the room.
