Located just five miles from downtown, Austin Lone Star RV Community provides over 150 spacious RV sites with full hookups and gorgeous trees that provide some relief from the hot Texas sun. We also have gorgeous rental homes with plenty of space available in our amazing RV community. Take a swim in our seasonal heated pool, play billiards in our clubhouse, or pick up a few RV supplies and other necessities at our convenient on-site store. We have an ideal location that provides easy access to all of Austin's attractions and conveniences. You can spend the day at the Lyndon B. Johnson Library or the Bullock Texas State History Museum or enjoy the natural beauty found at Lady Bird Lake and the Zilker Botanical Garden.

We were stranded at this camp during the February 2021 Texas Tundra. We survived 2 days no power then 2 days no water.
Communication from office on utility events was very slow.
You call the office and recording stated call sun resorts for assistance.
On third day, offer via email, to come to game room for warming area and use pool water to rv flush toilets.
Bathrooms used electronic locks and unable to use during 2 day no electricity event.
I think the owner needs a more proactive plan to handle such events and make guests more comfortable in future events.

My husband and I have been in the park for about 3 months. The location is great but with that comes traffic and the traffic can be a bit noisy, but you get used to it.
The people in the office were nice and very accomodating. The people in the park were nice, we met some lifelong friends and can't wait to come back.
The fitness center, laundry room and shower/restrooms were pristine. I would highly recommend this park!

Our stay at the Austin Lone Star RV Park was very nice. The sites were pull though with full hook-ups. While the sites were slightly close together, they provided adequate room for our needs.
The entrance to the RV Park is along the I-35 Frontage Road which is under construction. We did have to exit the interstate a mile before our designated exit, but that was not an issue. We were able to access the frontage road and access the RV Park without issue.
The dog park at the RV Park was one of the best dog parks we have experienced in our stays to date.

The park is hard to enter and exit on the busy frontage road. Parks cable tv is down the WiFi is spotty, only one bathhouse and if not camping next too its a walk to use it. Way to many full time campers for my liking that don’t take pride in their spaces. We’ll find other parks next time in Austin

This park's cancellation policy sucks. We lost $246 because my wife broke her ankle and we had to cancel within 14 days. They charged the entire amount when we scheduled instead of a deposit. We couldn't even apply the amount to a future stay. We will never be back.

The facility was nice. But I was working in the area for work. Work had me move to a different state and Austin Lone Star would not reimburse me my money. I had paid for two weeks in advance, and they refused to give me a refund, so I lost $673.60. I could understand paying a cancellation fee and then refunding me the rest of the money but keeping it all is bad business. Especially because they could have doubled dipped by getting my spot filled since I was leaving early.

Enjoyed our 2 night stay at this RV park. Very secure with coded gate entrance. the Bathrooms were the best we encountered on our 4 week cross country trip. Pull through site was easy to get set up with full hook-up. Some long term tenants but very accommodating to the short term too. Only a few minutes from McKinney Falls State Park which is a great place to explore.

Stayed 1 night traveling back to Wisconsin. Austin Lone Star texted me in the morning of our arrival with both directions and instructions for arrival after the office was closed. Both were great. All entrances to the park and buildings required a code to enter. Felt very safe. The bathrooms and showers were great. Very clean.
Our pull through site was long enough so I could stay hooked up to my fifth wheel. This made for a quick get away in the morning. Would definitely stay again.

Great location to stay if you are looking to do stuff in Austin. It is right off the I35 so you hear the traffic day and night. Staff is very nice and so is everyone staying here. There are long term residents but are mostly in the back and sides of the park. Long pull through sites that easily fit out 40’ 5th wheel. There is no cable here, but you can get a few channels over the air. Laundry room was super clean, $1.75 for the wash and $1.50 for the dryers. There are several shower/bathroom combos that were always clean and available.

We stayed 2 nights and the place is wonderful! My daughter lives in Lake Charles, so we needed to leave early to help her. They refunded us one night because we had to go, and they didn't have to do that. We were very thankful for their generosity in letting us get our money back. Great place, great people!!
