This park's cancellation policy sucks. We lost $246 because my wife broke her ankle and we had to cancel within 14 days. They charged the entire amount when we scheduled instead of a deposit. We couldn't even apply the amount to a future stay. We will never be back.

Enjoyed our 2 night stay at this RV park. Very secure with coded gate entrance. the Bathrooms were the best we encountered on our 4 week cross country trip. Pull through site was easy to get set up with full hook-up. Some long term tenants but very accommodating to the short term too. Only a few minutes from McKinney Falls State Park which is a great place to explore.

We were stranded at this camp during the February 2021 Texas Tundra. We survived 2 days no power then 2 days no water. Communication from office on utility events was very slow. You call the office and recording stated call sun resorts for assistance. On third day, offer via email, to come to game room for warming area and use pool water to rv flush toilets. Bathrooms used electronic locks and unable to use during 2 day no electricity event. I think the owner needs a more proactive plan to handle such events and make guests more comfortable in future events.

My husband and I have been in the park for about 3 months. The location is great but with that comes traffic and the traffic can be a bit noisy, but you get used to it. The people in the office were nice and very accomodating. The people in the park were nice, we met some lifelong friends and can't wait to come back. The fitness center, laundry room and shower/restrooms were pristine. I would highly recommend this park!

We stayed 2 nights and the place is wonderful! My daughter lives in Lake Charles, so we needed to leave early to help her. They refunded us one night because we had to go, and they didn't have to do that. We were very thankful for their generosity in letting us get our money back. Great place, great people!!

Stayed 1 night traveling back to Wisconsin. Austin Lone Star texted me in the morning of our arrival with both directions and instructions for arrival after the office was closed. Both were great. All entrances to the park and buildings required a code to enter. Felt very safe. The bathrooms and showers were great. Very clean. Our pull through site was long enough so I could stay hooked up to my fifth wheel. This made for a quick get away in the morning. Would definitely stay again.

Our stay at the Austin Lone Star RV Park was very nice. The sites were pull though with full hook-ups. While the sites were slightly close together, they provided adequate room for our needs. The entrance to the RV Park is along the I-35 Frontage Road which is under construction. We did have to exit the interstate a mile before our designated exit, but that was not an issue. We were able to access the frontage road and access the RV Park without issue. The dog park at the RV Park was one of the best dog parks we have experienced in our stays to date.

Great location to stay if you are looking to do stuff in Austin. It is right off the I35 so you hear the traffic day and night. Staff is very nice and so is everyone staying here. There are long term residents but are mostly in the back and sides of the park. Long pull through sites that easily fit out 40’ 5th wheel. There is no cable here, but you can get a few channels over the air. Laundry room was super clean, $1.75 for the wash and $1.50 for the dryers. There are several shower/bathroom combos that were always clean and available.

This RV park looks to be fairly new. The park is located on a no exit street, so very quiet. Everyone one is very friendly. There is a lake which looked very nice, unfortunately we were not in that area. There is a dog walk, dog washing area, golf buggies to hire, which if you are down the other end of the park, would be a good option if you don’t have a vehicle. The pool looked great, but was too far from our parking spot, and we were too late to hire a buggy. Also there seemed to be only one laundry facility, which was next to the office and pool, which again we did not use, due to the distance from our site.

We loved this campground. Clean, safe, shady, spacious. Great bathhouse and laundry facilities. Pool, recreation room and very close to downtown for an easy shared ride. But what I loved the most was the staff. Friendly and helpful. Always with a smile on their face. Maria, the manager, helped us find a pet sitter and even walked our dog one afternoon. I definitely recommend it.
