Do yourself a favor... hurry up and go... then stop being in such a hurry. Lone Star Court is the BEST place to recharge your battery. You can do absolutely nothing... rocking in the cool porch rockers... chilling by the fire pits... listening to great music and sipping your favorite beverage. Or do a ton! There's plenty in the Domain across the street. Whatever you need to reward yourself. You deserve it! But whatever you need, find it at the only place to stay in Austin! William Barba is the most gracious host you will find. Winnie is a superstar (find her in the Water Trough)! And John has a beverage waiting for you. There's no better vibe in Austin for families, couples, friends or business.
Great staff and so accommodating to our large group. Perfect place, comfy beds, close to restaurants. Great area for kids to play in center and fire pits for s’mores! The food truck outside served yummy burgers. Bar was fun at night and yummy breakfast at hotel in the morning.
Great vintage ambience. Cool breakfast / dining hall. Nice people at reception. Great place for kids to play in the garden with open fires, cornhole and more. The only thing i'd say is that my room on level 3 was a bit having an "old smelly taste". Either clean the carpet or open the doors more often. Will stay there next time again.
We love this place. It’s the easiest place to have kids with you. It’s all gated so they can run around and you can watch them. They have corn hope to play and it’s walking distance to everything you need.
What a great property to have our Legal Team offsite. I had lived in Austin for several years and typically, I would pick a different hotel. But an event coordinator recommended the LoneStar Court and we are so glad we chose it for our team meeting! I can't say enough great things about this place. The rooms are so adorable and has everything you need! I was very surprised to see the amount of snacks and drinks available for purchase, but also how cute everything was. But the best part about this property is the staff. The general manager, along with his event staff are truly amazing. I dealt with Jazz and her catering team and they were wonderful! They catered to our every need and always did it with a smile! They made sure our event was well run and really made the experience great. The level of detail and proffessionalism did not go unnoticed. I would definitely use this space again!…
I was here for a work offsite, and thought the property was kind of cool, it's very much like a camp. It was pretty, and the room was very spacious although the room was very very dark and kind of damp/dank seeming. I tried to avoid hanging in my room aside from when I was sleeping because it felt a bit sticky and dark. The bed was extremely comfortable which is not normally the case at hotels. Bathroom was clean, nice, and well stocked. They had a huge mini bar selection, but I didn't love that I was charged for off-brand cans of water which they give out for free at the front desk. Would definitely stay here again for work with a group. Food we were served was meh but I think that was more the selection than anything.
Too many loud kids. Not hotel’s fault, just unexpected. Room was quiet, but wasn’t able to enjoy amenities because of kids took them over/drinking parents didn’t reel them in. Hotel needs to switch to adults only, especially when it has conferences in town. Food trucks not in operation
William, Jazz, David and Greg were amazing! Our group event for 70 people went off with only a few minor issues which is remarkable given the size and duration of our meeting. The hotel is unique and provided the right atmosphere for fun, business and a memorable experience. We will definitely be back for future events.
Wennie and the rest of the team at the hotel are amazing, everyone was very friendly. The hotel is very convenient for to the location. Rooms are clean and the courtyard is really nice, with fireplaces and games.
I went for a mother/daughter week end in Austin. It was great. It has the feeling of camping without the bugs and the uncomfortable bed. Walking distance from all the shops and great restaurants it is a fun place to stay. We loved the fire pits, the rocking chairs in front of our room, the food truck downstairs Staff was welcoming and helpful. We will com back and recommend it
