... hotel in downtown Austin was exorbitantly expensive and so I thought I'd take a chance on this property which is still only two miles from the university and $100-400 cheaper per night with free wifi and parking.
I wasn't sure if the location would be good as I typically prefer to stay in the heart of downtown, but it was great - very quick to the things we wanted to do, and pretty close to the airport as well.
The Suites are great with decent breakfast & evening Social Hours Reception, and free parking, while they charge $35 for it in downtown Austin.
Homewood suite has large clean quiet rooms and great location with quick access to Highway 290 and I-35 with convenient shops nearby and very close to the airport.
