Spent wonderful 3 day weekend in Austin TX. Stayed at great boutique hotel in East Austin called the Heywood. We were 3 couples and stayed at this perfect place with 7 contemporary rooms and had wonderful outside patio sitting area . The rooms were spacious and very clean. The staff, including Maris and Margaret, were unbelievably helpful with restaurant suggestions... More

What a little gem of a hotel, in a great area of a great city. Loved the hotel and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. They offered lots of recommendations for things to do and places to eat & drink which I'm really glad we followed. They have bikes available too which we used to take a quick spin... More

We live in Austin and booked a night at the Heywood as a much-needed break from deadlines at work and a construction project at home. It’s amazing how well it worked! We felt like we were on a luxurious, slightly adventurous, and wholly relaxing getaway. Our king patio was spacious, comfortable, stylish, spotless. The private patio was great for reading... More

The Heywood is located in an up and coming area on E Cesar Chavez in East Austin. There are 7 rooms and we stayed in one of the King Deluxe rooms upstairs. The design is incredible with modern crisp lines, beautiful colors and attention paid to details. The staff was wonderful and very attentive. The hotel is located within walking... More

This small, uber-cool hotel in the heart of the east side was an amazing find. After landing at a chain hotel in Arboretum (we were there for a conference) we found we were not satisfied with this type of stay and were looking for something more special/unique. We googled and luckily found The Heywood and they were able to accommodate... More

This tiny little gem was a fantastic find! The room (#7) appears to be brand new - it was quiet as a tomb with perfect climate control The bed was comfy and the bedding ideal. I seriously slept better than I have in a hotel in months. Did I mention it was as clean as a surgical suite? The neighborhood... More

We stayed at the Heywood Hotel in January. It was cooler weather and even a bit rainy in Austin and this was a lovely place to land. The staff are very friendly and full of advice and the hotel will lend you bikes and has areas to make tea and coffee. The rooms are small but comfortable. I give it... More

We arrived at the Heywood out of hours due to a flight delay - but this was no problem for the wonderful staff, they arranged to meet us and made our check in effortless. Our room was delightful; light, airy and spacious. The bathroom is beautifully designed with a lovely shower and divine shower soaps and shampoos.

We loved the Heywood. Our room (#6) was perfectly comfortable and quiet. We were greeted by Maris, who gave us some excellent food recommendations (Qui, La Barbeque, Veracruz). If we come back to Austin, we will definitely stay here again.

Like staying with lovely thoughtful friends who just happen to own a luxury hotel! I just wanted to stay in my room it was so gorgeous! They've thought of everything. And the little outdoor seating area is lovely. The thing I was most impressed by though was the service. I'd just arrived off a transatlantic flight and was heading to... More
