Last week my wife and I purchased a pool pass at the East Austin. The setting was immaculate. The pool was cool and relaxing. The pool bar was convenient and the service was great. The food included vegan and other entrees. The cocktails and beers were reasonable. For the price it was an excellent staycation.

Our stay at the East Austin Hotel was quite enjoyable given its incredible ambiance and friendly staff. The food was excellent, giving us a convenient spot for breakfast each morning. Parking was also quite convenient, with an onsite underground lot. Our room was clean and had lovely decor. A quality establishment with a hipster/Austin flair. Definitely recommend! Shoutout to Kelsey for being a fantastic and helpful staff member.

The hotel is small but with great spirit. The neighborhood is a great one because of the several places to eat or grab a drink and the urban art (plenty!); East Austin Hotel has little time in operation (smells new!); the location is just perfect (the traffic on the i35 could be a nightmare), and the price is reasonable (without being a budget hotel). The pool area excellent and the rooms have everything (except a comfortable table to work on the computer). I would give it five stars and I totally recommend it; It is one of those great little hotels that make a difference.

For a brand new hotel it left a little to be desired really. Upon check in the staff were cool and little stand offish, at check in we are told our room was a hotel style room with shared bathroom which was not clear at the time fo booking and so we had to pay to have a bathroom!! The signage in the hotel left a lot to be desire, wand with a lot of luggage we trekked around the property a good few times before locating our room, which was very nice i must say and super comfy bed. over the next few days the fire alarm went off EVERY morning around 7am, not ideal on vacation. They offered a free latte but it made little difference to the events that kept occurring. Id have rathe they eliminate the upgrade fee we were made to pay to have a bathroom tbh! All the area is pretty sketchy. Its was a so so stay which i was disappointed for for the price and expectations.

Hello! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave feedback. We greatly appreciating learning how we can better improve the experience for our guests. We're sorry about the miscommunication regarding your room. We're updating our verbiage on third-party booking sites to make sure people are better aware that some of our rooms share bathrooms. We're sorry that was not better communicated to you prior to check-in. We're also very sorry about the fire alarms. Our brand-new building is still getting some kinks worked out, and it's very unfortunate that occurred during your stay. We're glad your room was very comfortable, and we hope to see you again in the future.

I stayed here on their third day of being open. The design and decor is fantastic. This hotel is absolutely ideal and well priced for the area. The attention to detail is impressive and I’m surprised that the hotel doesn’t have a higher star rating. I stayed in the queen cabin room with the shared private shower rooms. These were clean and it wasn’t a problem not having an en suite bathroom. The room was clean, comfortable and cool. The map of the area was really useful and helped me bar hop across the area. Staff were also super friendly. I wish I could have stayed longer and on my next trip to Austin I will definitely be staying here again.
