The entire property is beautiful with something for everyone. The views and drinks from the 7th floor bar are incredible only to be outdone by the amazing service from Miescha! What a great way to spend Mother’s Day weekend!
My friends and I had a wonderful staycation at Fairmont Austin for a birthday celebration. Brandon at the front desk and Aaron on the front drive were incredibly professional and welcoming during check-in. Ryan at the Concierge desk provided an excellent suggestion to go eat at Loro for dinner which we couldn’t be happier with. Chase the chauffeur took great care of us in the house car whenever we needed a ride around town. To top things off when we got back to our room we were surprised to be greeted with champagne to end a great a night. I would certainly recommend Fairmont to anyone looking for a great stay in Austin.
This place is a total garbage can. We did a staycation for my brothers wedding and we had a horrible experience at this hotel. We had been staying at the commodore Perry estate and moved over to the Fairmont so we could be more in central downtown. We’ve stayed at Fairmont’s all over and have always had top notch customer service and overall great experiences. Fairmont Austin was extremely disappointing. The Check-in line was SO long. We waited over 30 minutes to be checked in. They had more people standing at the entrance to ensure everyone who walked in was wearing a mask than they had staffed behind the checkin desk. 99% of people were wearing a mask upon entering to hotel, you should allocate your labor a little better. After checkin we had lunch in the restaurant in the lobby. The service was so slow. We had to get up and hunt down our waiter to place our lunch order. We tried to order breakfast to the room at 9:00 am. Was not able to get someone on the phone until 9:45. The breakfast didn’t arrive until 11:00. We reserved a cabana by the pool. The staff at checkin for the pool were extremely arrogant and rude. Our waiter was the only friendly one. For how strict the lobby was with covid protocols the pool was the polar opposite. Extremely overcrowded with the trashiest clientele I’ve ever witnessed. We did not get in the pool as it appeared to be completely filthy. I would not recommend for families unless you want your children to be exposed to mostly naked women and hired hookers. I expected more out of the Fairmont. We left feeling like we had been staying at a one star holiday inn.…
My first time coming to the Fairmont and was blown away. When I walked in, I was immediately lost in the eyes of what seemed to be an angel. Maeve directed me through their cocktail menu and the piña colada hit the spot. Later our waitress Emily went above and beyond, not only making us feel comfortable here in the hotel but at home in the city of Austin. The pool had it all. Yard games, ping pong, hot tub, and pool with surrounding cabanas all around. Stopped for a bite to eat at Rule and Regs and was recommended the best ceviche and beet bites by Maggie and ebby! Definitely coming back!
Miescha displayed a level of professionalism that reflects the quality of the hotel. As my group and I arrived, we were greeted warmly by Miescha, she was prompt, friendly, and precise. It is a rare treat to get it all , good service, good food/drinks, combined with a friendly atmosphere and good vibes! It reminded me of pre-COVID life, which was greatly missed . Keep up the good work !
