Terrible service especially the restaurant. the waiter girl who work at Gabriel’s restaurant have having bad attitude and she is very disrespectful person. She served me for lunch and dinner and both times when she brought the food she tell me it’s to go while I see all the people sitting there eating their food, I was the only person asked to leave, by the way I never asked to get my food to go also there was a lot of places there to sit. And when I asked to have my dinner there the guy who work with her said “ we don’t have plates”I just want to leave this review to the public to see how horrible and disrespectful service they have. By the way I travel internationally every year and I booked a lot of hotels. usually the room should get clean service every day . At this hotel the room never get clean service, I took my trash out the room !!…
AS I WAS GETTING READY FOR A SHOWER a used eye contact and glass in the bathroom! I called down to the front desk and spoke to the manager Danny, who treated the problem like NO BIG DEAL and did nothing about the issue. Literally nothing. I demanded that I be moved to another room. He moved me to the room next door. I wasn’t expecting anything but was totally shocked that he didn’t even bat an eye when during a PANDEMIC his staff didn’t think to double down on cleaning rooms for guests. I would never stay here again and wouldn’t recommend you do either. LUCKILY it was just 2 nights. They also allow pets and perhaps it wasn’t my lucky day but the first morning in the hotel, the dog next door barked for HOURS straight. After Danny’s response to the glass and contact lens in the shower, I just decided that my headphones would have to be the best remedy. 0 stars. …
AT&T Center located in the heart of Austin’s University of Texas campus and just a couple of blocks from the Bullock State of Texas History Museum. This was our third stay and The Covid changes were obvious. No valet parking, coffee bar closed, only one hotel restaurant open. But front desk gets five stars for sorting out a reservation snafu with a third party seller. Reserve DIRECT with the hotel! Generic but comfortable room. Convenient no fee garage parking. Attractive lobby with several seating areas. Friendly staff, especially front desk. I recommend this hotel; a good place to stay in Austin.
My wife and I stayed here with our kids for a sanity break during COVID. The property was very clean and we felt very comfortable with all the precautions the hotel took. Excellent location to explore UT, the drag, and relax in the pool. Rooms were very nice, updated, and had an amazing view of the UT tower. The concierge, Mike S., had excellent advice about dinner picks and sights in walking distance. Highly recommend trying the on site restaurant! Great food!
This was our first time to stay at the AT&T Hotel. We paid for the upgrade to have the UT Tower view and it was worth the extra cost. The rooms are well designed and have everything that a luxury hotel would have available. We ate dinner and breakfast there. Even though the menu is more limited than usual, the food was very good. I worked out at the fitness center and it had all the equipment that I needed. There is also an area in the middle of the hotel where you can sit outside in a garden area. The staff are friendly and are all wearing masks. We would stay there again, especially when there is a UT football game as we parked at the AT&T Hotel and walked to the game.
