Omni is my favorite hotel because of their perfect customer service- I’ve actually stayed at this hotel on business and had selected this hotel on this trip which was personal. Although this hotels’ decor is dated- I still prefer it. I hope that once Omni turns over the keys to Hyatt that Hyatt will adopt Omni’s Customer Service. * I like Hyatt too, but Omni has always set themselves apart from others by going above and beyond. I’ll stay here again.
This is a lovely hotel, but it didn't meet Omni quality. Apparently they are selling the property soon, and it had that feeling. Service was prompt and friendly. I was there for a conference. The conference space was typical. Unfortunately, my room in this all-no-smoking hotel had a faint odor of smoke. Not enough to move, but it was an annoyance. Due to covid, there was reduced housekeeping. the in-room refrigerator is small and only chills to 45 degrees, so not good for leftovers. No microwave. The toilet was small and LOW. If you are elderly, ask for a handicap room (and hope for a more accessible toilet). My room was on the freeway side, so even with good windows it was noisy all the time. Free parking was nice, although the lot was huge and open. There is a huge homeless encampment just a couple of blocks away, which gave me concern for the safety of my car and my person. There didn't seem to be an actual problem. Overall, it's a nice hotel, but not a 4 star.…
It was nice; good fitness center, decent room (if things were aging) but staffing was down and, due to COVID, less "clean the room and refill your coffee" type service. I'd stay here again. Note: there was a large pool (curvy) that you could do a light workout in (if so inclined) and a decent fitness area with several machines (pull down, curl, row, fly), bench, dumbbells, 2 elliptical machines, 3-4 treadmills, with wipedown stuff.
Wonders Of Water! We got to the Hotel and there was a hole in the lobby floor. We were very surprised to find out that there were water issues. When we got back to hotel the first night they were jackhammering the floor. We did not have water for a little while one afternoon. All this was an inconvenience, but the staff was amazing. We got lots of messages telling us what was going on. They were very kind and handled the situation amazingly. We were offered an opportunity to leave but we stuck it out. They even gave us a 50% discount which was a very pleasant and unexpected surprise. I would for sure stay here again. The staff made the best of a terrible and uncontrollable situation!!!
They are about to close this location in preparation for a new renovation for conversion into Marriott. There is plenty of free parking, but the landscape is sparse. At the time of my stay their pool was green with algae that should have been closed during cleanup. Beds were comfortable and rooms had plenty of space.
