The hotel appears to be converted 1 & 2 br condos. Interesting concept and use, full size kitchen appliances. The inside could use some updating, would not think it would take a great deal of investment. Lighting inside needs to be better, somewhat dark even with all the lights on at night. The staff was welcoming and friendly. Breakfast is... More

This place is odd. It’s located next to an abandoned mall. That should be a hint. The rooms are very dark. It’s a green hotel but the lighting is so poor that you need to turn on every light. But, it was still impossible to read in the living room or bedroom. The buildings are very close to each other... More

This hotel is well located for those coming from Houston at highways 290 and I -35. The suites have a bedroom and living room, a full kitchen with dishwasher, oven and stove. There is a free, yes free Happyy Hour of beer, wine and nibbles in the evening, and a free breakfast. And this is an eggs and sausage breakfast,... More

The two bedroom suite feels like a townhouse, with 2 full bedrooms and 2 full baths. The living room couch makes out into a bed and there is a full kitchen. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Breakfast consists of biscuits (and local honey), eggs cooked anyway you want them, local yogurt, fresh fruit and other items. I love... More

I was a little nervous driving to the hotel, but it was a pleasant surprise. The grounds are very pretty with all sorts of flowers and fruits growning around the rooms and pool. the room was more like an apartment/suite with the bedroom and bathroom separate from the living room. Full kitchen! not that we used it, but good to... More

Off the beaten path in an area that kinda felt deserted, as it was nestled back off the road behind a public building..-- a men's club next door. Nonetheless, it was a great place to stay with affordable rates. the staff was top notch, very hospitable and went out their way to be helpful and offer suggestions for anything I... More

I have stayed at the Habitat a few years ago and besides needing an update to the rooms it was an okay place to stay. I am on a restrictive diet and enjoy staying at a hotel with a full kitchen. The hotel has a full breakfast from 6-9 which wasn't bad at all. More than the typical continent breakfast.... More

Pros: Friendly staff, meticulously clean room, Eco-friendly concept, happy hour and awesome breakfast Cons: older building, a bit dark As you can see there was only one "con" and it may not even matter to some travelers. The pros list could go on:Our plans changed suddenly and they graciously accommodated the change. That kind of customer service goes a long way... More

My family visited in July for two nights in a two-bedroom, two-bath unit. (These rooms are more like apartments, featuring a small kitchen, living room, and a bedroom and bath on each of two floors.) We didn't use the kitchen at all, but we would have enjoyed that if we had stayed longer. Originally, I had been searching for a... More

This hotel is awesome for a couple of reasons. First I'll start off with the breakfast, since that is by far the most noteworthy part of this place. They had free AWESOME breakfast, made to order, with a variety of choices to order from. They also had a "buffet" style area with other delicious options. The other part I liked... More
