I chose this location for a family visit prior to a business meeting in downtown Austin. Check-in was ... unusual considering my Marriott Ambassador status. I talked to the General Manager - Omar - in the morning and shared my concerns. Overall it wasn’t a big issue to ME,

The Residence Inn was clean and comfortable, nice big room, great bathroom and shower, good TV and wifi, nice small kitchenette. Locations convenient to airport, but on a strip (not an attractive location). Breakfast was good, with hot food as well as a good selection

Nice hotel. Very clean. Above-average breakfast. Extremely helpful staff, especially Helen. Friendly and accommodating. No issues with noise. Verrrrrry comfy bed. Shower pressure just OK but full-size toiletries included. Quiet location. Close to office park area, but a straight

It's a new-ish hotel so everything is obviously clean and modern. There are some growing pains though. I stayed here for the president's day weekend for a visit and the HVAC was just all over the place. Arriving just before 2 am, we were upgraded to a corner "suite" room 401.

Unfortunately, our shuttle does not provide transportation to the downtown area or COTA. However, there are several ways to get transportation from our hotel. The first is a cab, which typically takes approximately 15 minutes to get to the hotel. Your other option are ride share apps. As Uber and Lyft are not in Austin you would want to use Ride Austin, Fare, or Fasten. They work similarly to both Uber and Lyft. With that in mind, a ride to either downtown or to COTA should run you approximately 25 USD. I hope that this information helps you with planning your trip to Austin, TX. Let us know how else we can be of assistance.
