This hotel is located in West Austin, which I understand to be a higher income area. It's a bit isolated, with really nice, big homes around the area and appears to be a fairly recently developed area of town. The room reminded me of an upscale studio apartment. The kitchen area is equipped with some utensils and dishes, the bathroom was nice. Basically, it was well appointed. Whenever I went to the main desk for something, I received excellent service. They have a happy hour where they serve cheeses, chips and various nuts in addition to the wine and beer. I'm not a drinker so the free alcohol is lost on me. However, I imagine others might find that to be a nice little feature. There were a few restaurants nearby, it's close to a state highway, and Austin Lake is nearby. I saw some guests making use of a gas grill (I'm assuming it was a gas grill) just outside the lobby area outside. I think anyone who books this hotel will be pleased. It's a good distance from the main part of Austin would be the only negative that I could see.

I travel a lot so fantastic customer service goes a long way. Chris at the front desk made check in a breeze and was helpful and friendly. Since I had checked in using the online app, my room was ready for a very early check in and they were even able to accommodate some last minute changes. I am very happy with my decision to stay at this property and will be back.

This might be our new favorite hotel in Austin. Our desicion to stay was a last minute impulse stay and we absolutely loved our stay here. We had a 2 room suite, which was spacious and had a full size oven. HEB is close by so if you want to cook you can grab your groceries there. The staff is wonderful and Chris is just a great person! You will not be disappointed with a stay at this location it's convenient to downtown but far enough away for a getaway.

Just passed through Austin while on tour with my band. Immediately after arrival, the staff went above, and beyond to ensure that our stay was as convenient and comfortable as possible. Our room was spacious, and the veiw was great. The pool, and the gym were an added bonus too. I highly recommend staying here if you are traveling to the area.

Price: can't speak to it as I was here on business travel. Location: easy to find, felt a bit remote. The area is definitely quiet at night and I felt safe. There are businesses near by as well. I feel like this hotel is on the newer side, so there's not too much around it. However, there are some walkable options and a Target nearby as well. I believe the hotel also has suggested outdoors running paths as well! Check-in/out: easy. Simple enough. Room: I booked the king studio (one king bed). Room was excellent. It was spacious with plenty of desk space, couch seats, and a rotating TV (rotate it to face you in the living area, rotate it to face you on the bed). As with Residence Inn rooms, there was a kitchen and dining table as well. Bed was comfortable and I slept well. Surrounding rooms were quiet as well. The only negative I remember was the A/C unit made a humming noise even when off. Or some kind of noise...I don't remember exactly, but it stood out to me. Not enough for me to need to call the front desk, but it was there. Amenities: a 24-hour gym, pool, and laundry room available. The gym had several treadmills and ellipticals, no bikes. Free weights available, as well as yoga mats and towels. When I visited, all the equipment was in working condition. Would have liked a bike, but can't complain. I walked around the pool as well - it appeared to be clean and well maintained with towels. Oh, and there's half a basketball court outside too. Not sure who to ask for a basketball (if it's provided), but it was too hot for me to consider anyway. The complimentary breakfast provided was smaller than other Residence Inns, but there probably isn't as much foot traffic as some of the other ones I've visited. Either way, I had no complaints. It was good enough, provided a good meal, and allowed me to get on my way. Staff: all of the employees were friendly and kind! Overall, this hotel has it right. I can't say anything was extraordinary here, but that's not a bad thing. The hotel was everything I expected from a Residence Inn. In my book, that's a 5/5 rating.
