We stayed at this KOA while visiting family in Arlington. Although we did not make use of any of the amenities, we found the campground quiet, very clean and nicely wooded. A large pet area made our Bernese Mountain Dog happy. Access is easy off a large street, although the exit driveway could use some work to keep big rigs from dragging. Maybe a few restaurants around that were walking distance, but we had a Toad and drove everywhere. Walking in this area is a major undertaking. Things are very spread out. This was a great place to stay. We'll be back again on the next visit.
For paying good money to Dallas/Arlington KOA park is a waste of money. We stayed 2 nights without internet. Called the office twice. NO Help. Moved to another site, got low internet but snowing cable. Don’t waste your money here like we did.
Great location to everything in the city. We were 10 minutes from the AT&T stadium and Texas Live. We were one block from Enterprise rental car. We got a premium campsite with the patio. Unfortunately these sites were right in the very front where everyone is going in and out. It is a gated KOA that is closed at night. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Wifi worked great with no issues. We even streamed our TV at night. Restrooms and shower facilities are nice. There is only one bathroom and shower facility on site. It has several showers and bathrooms inside but this is a big campground and a hike to the bathroom depending on where your campsite is located. There was a nice pool but we didn't use it while we were there. I definitely would stay here again.
We only stayed overnight but it was clean and nice. This is a HOLIDAY CG. Last night we stayed at a JOURNEY in Arkansas that had no business being a JOURNEY - This place is a JOURNEY STANDARD in my opinion. We only stay at KOA so I think we are good "reviewers"!!!!
Wifi is very poor as my hotspot offers faster delivery. I feel in this day all rv sites, especially in urban areas, should have high quality wifi service. The Back in sites are muddy— very little grass when you exit your unit.
My husband and I left one day early for our anniversary trip. Instead of booking an extra stay at hotel we decided to book cabin. The facility was very clean, the crew was nice and welcoming. We booked the campground cabin w/o bathroom. It ran us around. $80. Which was a great price. Personally I wouldn't book that one being I wake up a few times during the night to potty. So I had to keep going walk to the public restroom. Which wasn't far away from cabin. But tiring at 2a.m and 4a.m. The public bathrooms and showers were clean and spacious. The pool was big. The beds were full size. And had a leather cot mattress which I didn't find comfortable but was o.k being camping is normally uncomfortable. Yes I would definitely go again. And bring my kids because there were a lot for them to do. The view on the porch in the a.m. is so relaxing. …
Typical KOA lay out. The store is well stocked. Staff is friendly. Pancake fund raiser on Sundays is well worth the donation. Uber was available to take us to the stadium. Would be 5 star but wifi kept disconnecting and requesting password.
We have stayed here several times and it is such a beautiful park. So well kept and everyone is so friendly. Beautiful Pool and nice facilities. Our dog loved the dog park! We felt very safe walking around even in the middle of the night.
We stayed here for about a week. Was reluctant seeing that it was smack-dab right in the middle of the city. Surprisingly it was quiet. This is a great KOA, Staff was very helpful and friendly. Beware arriving for first time arrival, blink your eye and you'll drive by it. Entrance is small area. Once inside you feel safe, pool/laundry/showers all great. Had a great spot #311, flat level concrete, delux patio, lots of shade. Close to most tourist stuff. Traffic was a bear but manageable. We would stay again here.
We pulled in after hours in a storm. It was nice to have our arrival packet waiting for us and clear directions to our site. The park is very clean and roomy. Many OTA channels available. Very well maintained by a friendly staff. Situated close to our destination at UTA. Will definitely consider staying again. We camped in a Class C motorhome. Long/level gravel pull-through sites.
