I have written about Marriott stays in the past and this one did not disappoint. I called to schedule the Shuttle in advance and was told this location did not have one. When we pulled up in the Uber, the Shuttle was parked out front. The gentleman that checked us in was quite rude. I chalked it up to a bad day for him. The next day we were out all morning and when we returned to the room it had not been cleaned. I called down to say that we were leaving in the afternoon and to please be sure our room was cleaned. After several back and forth about it with the woman on the phone, she finally told me that they were not cleaning rooms due to covid. I told her I was there for several nights and it would be eventually need to be cleaned. To which she replied that they would not and it was a policy at ALL Marriott's, again due to covid. So then I asked her how should I get actual things that I need and she told me if I called down they would bring whatever I needed. So right then, I ordered 4 regular coffee packets and some clean face towels for the morning. A few minutes later I received 4 DECAF coffees and face towels. It was the same series of errors for the whole stay! Every time I called down, it was multiple step process to get things I needed. At one point I asked if they could come empty the garbage cans and they told me to put them outside the door. When I did, they just took them away. They didn't come back. For most of the rest of the trip I just had little piles of garbage around the room waiting for my can back. I eventually called down for a new one. The pool was strewn with the debris and not cleaned during the length of our stay. Where's the value in a stay that provides no services? I reviewed Marriotts Clean Policy and they never tell you that they will not be cleaning your room during your stay. I really can't believe I haven't seen mention of this to date. Inconvenience aside, I don't believe they are even doing a very good job cleaning rooms in between stays. This is based on the appearance of our room upon arrival with a few surfaces dusty and stray hairs, that weren't ours, in the bathroom. It just seems that they are doing less all around. The couple of things that made the trip better was the bartender's at their lounge and the staff from checkout was nice and pleasant.

We stayed at this hotel during the World Series in October. It was a nice hotel within walking distance to the ballpark. The hotel is centrally located near the Six Flags amusement park, both Globe Life Ball Parks, and the Football Stadium. There's also a virtual gaming stadium pretty much in the parking lot. The rooms were nice enough and the beds were comfortable. The pool area looked pretty cool too although we didn't use it. It is a bit older but and can be pricey during special events.

Loud partying and dogs barking until 3 am. I was offered a change of rooms in the middle of the night the first night which I declined. The 2nd night was much worse with a barking dog added to the party. It was our first “getaway” in months due to Covid and the stay turned out to be an expensive disappointment.

We are very sorry to hear of your loud neighbors. We try very hard to keep the noise levels down, but it is very difficult. the Sheraton policy is to be pet friendly and we let our guests know that they are not allowed to leave their pet unattended, but clearly that doesn't always happen. I hope you will give us another try in the future.

This hotel was housing hurricane evacuees during our stay. As we pulled up to check in, there were no fewer than 20 people out front smoking. Being smacked in the face by a cloud of smoke was our first impression. That, and the police and national guard presence. Nothing says 'Welcome to Vacation' like hoards of bored people and constant police patrol. The luggage carts were locked up and had to be checked out for each use. There were no towels at the pool during our 3 visits, and I had to show ID to get a towel from the front desk. It was incredibly frustrating that paying guests were treated like evacuees and even more upsetting the prejudice the front desk staff had towards the evacuee guests. Trash cans inside and out were overflowing and bags of trash and empty food containers lined our hallway - some didn't move for 48 hours. The lobby and conference rooms looked really nice. Everything else was way overdue for cleaning, repairs and just general upkeep. The pool vacuum was in the pool for 2 days. Kids were constantly swimming by and getting tangled up in the hose. My kids got cuts on their feet from the rocks on the pool's stair entry - bad enough that they had to get out so we could stop the bleeding and go to our room to get band aids. Rooms were clean for the most part. Had we gone when the hotel wasn't full and the staff were not overwhelmed, it may have been a better experience. Definitely not a relaxing stay. The whole place had a tense vibe and I wish we would have drove away as soon as we got there.

I am so sorry for the issues noted during your visit. With housing last minute evacuees, our staff (being limited due to Covid) certainly got behind. I do apologize and hope you will give us another try in the future. We expect to be at our normal operations very quickly. Please contact the hotel directly if there is anything else that we can do for you. Best Regards,
