Coming from Flagstaff and needed a place for the night as the weather was coming. This hotel looked reasonable for rooms and price. Check-in was easy and the staff friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable. The only negative was no hot breakfast. Staying in eight different hotels, all about the same price range, and same comfort, I will check to see if there is a hot breakfast available vice pre-packaged items.

First the good things: Nice price, next to Cracker Barrel restaurant, and nice desk staff.
Now the not so good things: The AC had to be rebooted by unplugging and plugging it in. Secondly, the left side of the King bed has no more than 12 to 16 inch space between the bed and the wall. The TV remote was stuck on one channel (hitting the EXIT button helped), The sheer curtain was shredded. Not hot water but lukewarm. They had a sign requiring masks, which we did, but other than the hotel staff only one other guest wore his.

We stayed 2 nights at the Ashmore Inn & Suites in Amarillo. The hotel was clean, but a bit worn down. We upgraded to two connecting rooms as we could simply not stay in the room booked by the travel agent, the beds were too small for 4 adults. We were travelling with our 2 teenagers.
The two connecting rooms had a good size, only downside, the rooms smelled, so we had to keep the windows open to get fresh air, so luckily we could open the windows, which is often not the case.
Staff was friendly and really tried to help with our wishes.

I gave it 3 stars because the area is ok and staff is friendly. Breakfast is not very good, I would say defintely below average.

Room Tip: Ok hotel, free parking, but rooms smell, maybe due to the carpets or detergents used.

We left another hotel in Amarillo to come here because of the good reviews and stayed 3 nights. They did not clean the rooms or dump the trash or bring fresh towels. They said this was due to a staffing shortage. The breakfast was modest and that's ok but some of the food was frozen and we are not certain it was even semi-fresh. The pool and hot tub were out of service. This was a very disappointing stay and we will not be back.

Have stayed here many times over the past ten years but covid has clearly taken its too. Keys to outside doors work on about 25th swipe, when we eventually got in the room it was cramped and as a King suite was pretty dismal. The kitchenette had a mouldy fridge that was not switched on, one fork, one knife, two mugs and two bowls. It did have some saucepans but what you are meant to do with them is a mystery as there is no cook top. Keurig did not work well, probably needs cleaning, toilet sounded like concorde was taking off in the bathroom, plug ins by bedside worked intermittently. Breakfast used to be eggs, sausages and all the trimmings, now a few tired bagels and coloured cheerios.
Sorry Ashmore, it was good whilst it lasted but we will look elsewhere next year.

This hotel was preordered by our travel agency and we specifically ordered one room with minimum two queen beds for a family of 4 adults. When we arrived we where presented with one room but with smaller beds and two adults could not fit in the beds. So they offered an extra room but with an extra price of 149,50 dollars. We had no choice but to pay extra and the hotel manager Chris promissed to sort it out before we left. He did not return to us and after two mails to the hotel afterwards he still did not return. The breakfast was below standard and our two rooms faced a garden renovation currently being fixed and very noisy air conditioners outside. Luckily we only booked two nights and we left as unhappy and unsatisfied guests. We would highly recommend you find a better hotel with better service.

We were in town for a one night visit. Check in was quick and easy and the staff was pleasant and helpful. Our room was clean and just as pictured on-line. My family enjoyed the room and we found everything clean and taken care of. Hallways were quiet and didn't hear loud guests though we had neighbors nearby. The pool and hot tub looked in great shape but didn't get time to visit. We missed breakfast and it would have helped to have a later breakfast than cut off at 9:00am. Property is about 100 yards off highway so no noise and next to Cracker Barrel.
Great stay and would recommend for families.

For many years, we have held our family reunion at the same hotel on the same weekend and enjoyed the accommodations. This year, however, the hotel called us just two weeks before our scheduled reunion and informed us that they had overbooked and could not accommodate us, despite having a signed contract. Consequently, we were forced to find an alternative hotel at the last minute to accommodate our family.
We ended up booking at a hotel where one of the employees used to work. The staff there informed us that the employee may have prioritized another group's booking over our long-standing reservation for the same weekend. It appears that the hotel may have misled us and disregarded our contract to accommodate this other group.
Adding insult to injury, the manager had initially promised to comp the event room for our 2025 reunion. However, when we called to book for that year, he claimed he could not accommodate us on our traditional weekend in June, which our family has celebrated for over 50 years. Instead, he offered an alternative weekend, which is unacceptable given our long-standing tradition.
This hotel's actions demonstrate a severe lack of integrity. Despite our signed contract and decades-long tradition, he has shown blatant disregard for our family reunion, prioritizing other groups and failing to honor his commitments.

Beautiful hotel but POORLY MANAGED. Tried to get a shower at 7:30 a.m. and no hot water. Desk said it was because everyone was showering and hot water depleted. I had to wait an hour. After waiting, hot water appeared but then noticed no soap in the room. Went back down to desk and they said they were out of soap. Never, in hundreds of hotels in which I've stayed, have I run into either of these issues. My recommendation is to go stay at the Super 8. You'll get hot water AND soap there.

The room is dark with a tiny bathroom that to open the door taps on the toilet. The kitchenette would also be equipped and made the score rise a little. Breakfast would have been at 6, but at 6:15 we were still waiting for everything to be prepared, among other things it is not clear what they had to prepare given the scarcity of what was presented: peppery patties to be inedible, tasteless omelette, no fruit and no yogurt or fresh desserts. The biscuits look old. Very bad
