I was at this hotel in October while traveling with a group. I forgot my iPad on the desk. I called the hotel and they found my iPad. One of the desk employees, Brandy, went above and beyond to check best prices on how to get the iPad safely mailed back to me. I definitely recommend this hotel. The room... More

Every time we travel through Amarillo we try to stay here. It is immaculate. The staff is very nice. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices. Unfortunately we missed the Manager's Reception! Highly recommend this hotel.

We spent one night in this hotel during our Texas trip. As we were only staying for a single night, we didn't have high expectations or demands, but we were not disappointed. it's relatively new and easy to ind, being on the I-40. It's not town center, but a lot of the majo attractions (like the Big Texan or the... More

We stopped at this hotel because it appeared to be a good value for $82/night. The outside and lobby of the building were immaculate and clean. The rooms a little dingy. Overall a little disappointing for a rating of 4 on trip advisor. It took them quite a while to find our reservation, which was aggravating by 10:30 pm. (Granted... More

We got a great online deal for rooms at Ashmore so overall, we were pleased. Had rooms cost more, we would have been displeased. Room was nice but in need of refurbishment. Toilet and bath in bathroom but sink in main room and carpet in front of sink was in need of deep cleaning. Bed was ok. Linens were clean... More

Looks are deceiving. Looks great from the outside, but our room was terrible. The smell took my breath away and I had headaches my whole stay. It smelled like mold and mildew in my room. The bathroom vent did not work. The carpet was sticky, like it hasn't been shampooed or cleaned in years. It was just absolutely filthy. The... More

The hotel looked more modern on the outside than on the inside. The staff were helpful but when we tried to book in they were suffering computer glitches. We had to wait a couple of hours. The rooms were a good size but were on the cusp of becoming tired. The bed had been slept in once too often and... More

It may or may not be haunted but it sure gives you a creepy feeling. Step off the elevator and look to the end of the long long hall. It reminds me of the shining. I really had no problem with the hotel other than that. My grandson said it like old people.

We stayed at the Ashmore in Amarillo as we headed home after a 3000 mile road trip. I found the hotel on line and wasn't sure about it since we had never stayed in one before. We were very pleasantly pleased with the hotel. It was clean and very quiet. The bed was comfortable, one of the more comfortable ones... More
