Need upgrades to bathrooms and showers; traffic very loud nearby and with Halloween a very loud paranormal show for a couple days of days. Ask for password as you will not be informed if it changes. Office friendly and accomodating; nice gift shop, pool, sauna but while we had a nice, big end site, they are all gravel. No garbage pick up. This time our Big Texan meal was delivered, restaurant was very unfriendly and delivered far from the great meal we had last time - Luke warm, lots of fat on my prime rib, cold appetizers. Dogs - three really nice dog areas but many times went and saw people were not picking up dog poop. There were bags and garbage. Nearby Cadillac and Slug Bug Ranch and RV Museum. We saw Pali Duri Canyon last time we were here and highly recommend it.

Before I made the reservation I called to see if the site had wifi because we are new RVr’s and we need Wifi to check YouTube to help us along. Yup, wifi. Great. Decent Price. The park itself is a tourist attraction so great. We get there. Before I check in I ask again. Are we good on wifi- answer “yes”. So they take us to the back forty (yes there is a back forty. We were place with a bunch of actual set in the ground mobile trailers. A old pad where the trailer was that is not helpful to a travel trailer. We get set up. We set down after a long day. Wifi hooked up the message we get literally is “Unable to Join Big Texan WIfi- please move closer” uh, what? So I go to the office. They tell me to log in and “carry the signal back with me and if it happens again come tomorrow Saturday to see the office manager. Okay. This I do. Signal doesn’t travel. Go to the office in the morning to which I am told weekend time is family time and that the manager doesn’t work on weekends. Ugh. But they will see if they will call me. I get a call about an hour later. They agree to move us. So we back up again and we get moved. The signal is better at least but we are moved to the front of the park (which becomes important later). Things are fine there. At least we are not in the weeks nor are we with the old stationary trailers. Now we are with dug in travel trailers that rent by the month. Across the street we can see very nice gravel...none of which we have. And little lights at the power boxes and plenty of room for parking. The bathrooms are less than clean. There might be maintenance on it and they sinks may be clean but they need to take a power sprayer to the shower walls and stalls and some of the other areas because they are severely neglected. I should have taken a photo. I did not use the laundry facilities or the pool. We were happy with the dog facilities. Where they moved us had a decrepit trailer next door that looks like it has been there for a very long time. And then since Halloween was upon us right behind us in the field they started building a Paranormal Circus. I believe that they did know the circus was coming and someone should have mentioned it not only during the booking but when they moved us to back up to the circus construction. Aside from movement they did not thing to compensate for all the time lost setting up/ breaking down and doing it again and then dealing with the super fun circus behind us. We stayed at the KOA just a couple miles down it was very nice. The Steak House does Service it and we felt it was much much nicer.

There was another review where they said the place was OK but unhappy with the guy who parks you. They must have been talking about Rick. We were directed to our site (136) and then he took off. Turns out, the utilities were totally displaced compared to all the other sites. They sat out in front of where the front of our RV would normally be placed. And when we positioned ourselves where we could reach the utilities, our front end was impinging on the roadway and we were so far out of level that it was impossible to correct. So we backed up, stretched our power cord to the limit and had to use two hoses to reach the water. Forget the coax cable for cable TV. At least then we were just barely able to level using leveling blocks. Keep in mind that there were several vacant RV sites all around us with the utilities positioned in the normal configuration. When we brought Rick back (twice) he became quite surly and told us nobody else has complained and that all the sites were level. He told us that the other sites were all rented out. (you don't rent a specific site, he could have easily switched us, especially since apparently no would else complains about that site, just us). Most of these sites remained vacant through the night. Then he told us we could have our money back (instead of working with us to solve the problem). It is my understanding that there were no sites available anywhere in the area. Basically, he was telling us, "No back talk, and if you do, you can leave and good luck finding a spot anywhere else." Never again.

We stayed for two nights with full hookups. Great facilities and good dog run. My family really enjoyed the pool! The staff was super friendly. They escorted us to our spot and helped with any needs we had. It did seem that the sites were a little close together. We had to share a site with another rig. We would give it a five star, however the park is right next to I40 and heard road noise 24/7, otherwise we thought the park was great.

Stayed here for two nights. Nice park with huge area to walk. Several dog parks for use with plenty of pet waste stations. Friendly staff, nice office—a guide will take you to your spot. Everything worked fine. Great water pressure. Just felt that the sites were very close and they put folks in spots right next to each other with no spacing in between. Also, thought political flags and banners placed in yards of long termers were a big eye sore—disappointing—don’t expect to see this while on vacation.
