I arrived at this location just before sunset and immediately went to take my dog for a walk to relieve themselves from a long day of traveling. The site had dog feces in the area sectioned for a dog and the entire site itself. I noticed as I walked the property how much dog feces was in each lot in many different locations. They DO NOT clean up every night due to what I observed. The tables are very old and dirty with paint peeling. The fenced in dog area was not as I had imagined as it was not well kept and therefore I never used it. There are many tenants who live on site.
This RV park is next to a truck stop so it is very noisy. If you stay here see if they are willing to put you further away from the truck stop especially because there is more lighting from that area and noise. Because I had been traveling and was tired I chose to write in my concern to them rather than call personnel after regular hours. I received a response back and they were pretty upset with me for telling them my what I had experienced. I travel often and feel I am being very fair with this review. I will say the bathrooms/showers are the nicest I have seen. If I was a solo traveler this would have been more tolerable. Perhaps see if Loves truck stop on the other side of town is best for you as the sites are very nice or stop in at an alternate RV park that is not next to to two major truck stops. This was my oversite for not realizing this.

I gave a 3 rating due to the trash that is laying on the ground that borders the Valero Truck Stop. I understand the trash has probably blown over from there, but when your MH is facing it, it is an eye sore. It may not be your trash on your property, but needs cleaned up or build a fence so it isn’t seen and would block the view of the truck stop. There are train tracks on the other side of the park, but we didn’t hear them if they did run. The park is directly under a flight path which is very loud and made us laugh every time a plane was landing. The girls at the front desk were very nice and there is a cat that likes to greet you upon checking in. I would stay again in a pinch as we were yesterday, but will ask to not be facing the truck stop, besides the trash it is noisy.

Fantastic all brand new bathrooms. Older rv park with many pull thru locations & shade trees. Laundry mat, close to multiple fast food restaurants & gas stations. Just off I-40 east side of Amarillo. Will stay here again. Try yummy Mitch’s BBQ right next door.

Built in the 70s (per staff) it is well established with trees. Wonderful little dog areas in front of some of the sites, just for that site. Even shaded. Our dogs loved it & made our 5AM poop trip easy. Showers were clean, water hot, & plenty of it. This is an older park, older building, older playgrounds, so no fancy pool, & don’t judge the place just enjoy the friendly staff & great prices. They give veterans discount 🇺🇸 A big clean laundry room (didn’t use) It is close to interstate, so easy pull in then get back on road. Gas station across the street also with a subway. Sites are well taken care of & clean. We didn’t really notice the interstate noise, but one of the local military jets few over rocked our world. No cable, but we knew that from the start. WiFi worked, but don’t plan to stream The long term renters were keeping their areas up very well. This was a perfect “Overnight Park” for us

Dirty bathroom. Dirt on the shower floor was thick. Floor mat filthy. The check in area was cluttered with stuff. Very dirty entryway. Junk all around the checking and bathroom area. Also very noisy. You are right next to a truck stop. A lot of dog poop around too. The only reason we gave this a 2 is because the gal that checked us in was very nice when she had to come out to help me get the bathrooms door opened. She had to push it open with her body!

We have stopped overnight here several times. Once being stranded in a snow storm years ago. Good interior roads, adequate size sites and good hookups. We just overnight and don't use additional facilities. Would recommend.

Nobody mentioned the flight path we are under neath. OMG! Trees need trimming. Wintertime stay just overnight. Nothing special. But the aircraft is LOUD! Hard to believe it’s up to good Sam rating. Good luck.

All right, my bad for using a 2014 guidebook. Said they had pool, Wifi, etc. So--You enter, and see all kinds of NO's. "No WIFI, no pool, no cell phones in office, no right turn on the only road that will allow you to exit, NO pets in office. Got a rate of $33.00 and change. 3 cats in the office. We have a 34' Class A with a tow vehicle. Got a gravel slot next to a tree with a about 3 bushels of rotten apples under it. We did have cable and water and (I think) sewer). Never made it to the bathrooms or showers--Maybe those are a "NO" also.
On a whim, I went down the street a mile to the Amarillo Ranch RV park, which I had dismissed because it's associated with the Big Texan Steak House (OK, I'm a cynic and just arrogant to think I'm above visiting tourist traps). Beautiful clean office, 1st class helpful staff. They park you when you enter and then guide you to your space. Coffee and donuts in the morning. Indoor pool and hot tub. Showers to die for. SAME PRICE!!!

We stayed at the Overnight RV Park on our way to Colorado. This is a very dog friendly park, which is important to us because we have 3 dogs. 5 of the sites have there own little fenced in area for dogs. There is a nice dog run area but there is also a nicely mowed area around the park to walk. There are lots of trees and grass, very clean. Cable and good WiFi connection. Would definitely stay there again on the way home.

We stayed here on our way through on a break as the location looked good, which to be honest it is! The place is clean and well run and the rv plots are very well kept too...best of all they have enclosed dog areas for a number of the plots which are great...and we were lucky enough to get one...makes all the difference. There was no dog mess and bags provided to use as well....so would really recommend this place for a stop over! Woof...the dogs loved it!
