I do not understand all the negative reviews about this place. This place I did not have a single problem other than there key card machine was not working for about 10 minutes. The machine was fixed very quickly. Breakfast here is typical hotel breakfast buffet that is very filling for people headed to Big Bend.

I highly recommend this "choice" hotel. Beds and pillows comfy, large room with couch and desk, powerful hot shower, clean and quiet. Hot breakfast was a cut above most-- I enjoyed a nice biscuit with scrambled eggs. Yummy! Worth every penny.

As most tourists do, we spent a couple of nights in Alpine while visiting Big Bend National Park (still a long drive). The lobby has an interesting décor with western murals and paintings all around and there is a very nice pool area with lounge chairs. A very good standard hot breakfast is being served in a breakfast room that...

The Quality Inn in Alpine has more charm than you expect from a lower end chain motel. There are striking murals celebrating the western heritage of the region. The staff is very friendly and helpful. But there is no elevator. So be prepared to lug your stuff up a flight of stairs. Also while we were there, they were rehabbing...

Today is 1/5/17 and I have a reservation at this hotel for 1/6/17. I made the reservation over the internet and have been trying to confirm they know I'm traveling with my dog and have a pet friendly room available. The last thing I want to do is end up in Alpine, TX at 6PM with no room at the...

We apologize for the inconvenience. Our phones were not working for an extended period of time last week. Our telephone service provider was notified and did resolve the issue. After traveling for hours and hours we came up on a pet friendly place...in what seems to be the middle of nowhere! Older but very clean. Nice and quiet too...alot of trucks and working people so I was surprised it wasn't rowdy. Only real complaint if any...was the bathroom was sooo small if sat down you could fall into the...

The hotel was great. The decor in lobby was pictures and memorabilia from early times. It was very clean and the stafff, very friendly. The breakfast room had paintings of scenery for sale. There was a large breakfast every day. The rooms were very comfortable. It was a hotel that made you feel comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

Not many options if you want to stay in Alpine, and this appears to be one of the better ones. Hotel is an older property and shows its age. Regardless, it was clean and adequately maintained. The staff was unfailingly pleasant. There are two stories but no elevator. That said, the centrally located breakfast room gets noisy early in the...

My family and I stayed a couple of nights here over the weekend. The hotel was quiet, and comfortable. The staff was great. They were always pleasant and helpful. The room was clean. My only criticism was the bathroom floor could have been a little cleaner. I would definitely stay here again.
