The room and bathroom were clean. Beds pretty comfortable- like the extra bathroom counter space. Fairly quiet motel even though it was booked when we stayed. Vending machines a plus. There's also a living room type lounge on the first floor with nice chairs recliners and a flat screen tv

We normally stay at a different motel when in Alpine but wanted to stay near the rest of the family for Family Day at Sul Ross University. This motel had the basics: clean sheets and towels, coffee maker (that is good since there is no lobby with coffee - or breakfast of any kind), hair dryer, iron and board, soap...

Rooms were very clean, only issue I had is once I went to sleep I started itching. Once I woke up I had bug bites on my body. Very disappointed, could've been a mosquito, bed bugs not sure. Glad I didn't bring my child along he is very allergic to them.

Our rooms were great. Very clean, comfortable beds, Lots of TV channels. Great price. We thoroughly enjoyed the "old style" diner. If I were in charge of the diner, there were a few things/practices I would change. But over all, the food was great, and I enjoyed watching them prepare our orders. My only "negative" was, the Coke machine had...

We booked through Travelocity and chose this hotel because it was affordable (we needed two rooms) and the included breakfast, which would help with costs. I confirmed with travelocity that we had 2 rooms booked and that they included breakfast. Travelocity confirmed this. I called oak tree inn reservations as the date got closer to double check all was still...

Stayed at Oak Tree Inn for 4 nights during Spring Break, whilst road tripping for 5 weeks around Texas and NM. Considered my room to be above average for most of budget motels stayed at, and the Oak Tree is not situated too far out of town. Everything worked in room, bed was comfortable and no problem with cleanliness. Heating...

My daughter my grandchildren and i stayed in room 115 at the motel and since my granddaughter was sick we took naps and kept the curtins closed as to not disturb her. Upon waking the next morning we opened the curtins and to our surprise we could see just how nasty the room was and the restroom was so disgusting...

I have never taken the time to write a review but this had to be done because nobody should have to pay for THIS! What is even more crazy is that we tried to check in at 2:39 and we were turned away until 3:00 because the rooms were still being cleaned. Clearly the rooms have NEVER been cleaned. I...

Great place to make as your home base to travel around and explore the area around Alpine, Ft. Davis, Marathon, Marfa, and The Big Bend , Texas. When we travel back to the area we will stay at the Oak Tree Inn of Alpine,Texas.

If I could give this hotel/motel negative stars, you can be sure I would. As soon as we arrived we discovered that check-in and check-out is in 'Penny's Diner'. This is terribly inconvenient. Since this hotel does not offer breakfast we decided to have it there. In that diner there is and open kitchen. Here is what I saw: a...
