When we my Fiance and I first got into the room, the sink wasn't draining at all and there was pee on the floor next to the toilet that wasn't cleaned up. After 3 days, the sink was finally fixed but then 5 days into our stay, we drove into the parking deck and hit a dip at less than 5 mph so hard that I thought I blew my tire. I heard my rental car bottom out. I let the front desk know but the next day, it still wasn't fixed and there was no sign. I had to drive over it by stopping once the front and back tires got into the dip. Today it was close to 102 but yet the pool was closed for painting until tomorrow, Saturday. The front desk notified us that we can go a small water park for $5. I'm sorry but the pool closes at 10pm, why couldn't it have been painted then. It hasn't rained in almost a week, so it would have been fine. My Fiance and I wanted to stay until Sunday so we can relax by the pool but that is now out of the question. We also cannot change our flight from Sunday to Saturday. If you can, goto another property as I was deeply unhappy with my stay.

Dear JMcgo1979 Thank you for providing feedback from your recent stay. We sincerely apologize that you did not have a pleasant stay. I will share your feedback with our leadership team. Especially housekeeping and engineering. Thank you for bringing these issues to attention so we can improve to better serve you and other guests. It was brought to our attention on Thursday evening there was an issue with the pool. Upon our investigation we determined we needed to fix the issue immediately so it would not turn into a safety hazard for our guests. Our engineering team was able to have this done in under 24 hours. I still know this was an inconvenience but it was something that had to be done. I am glad to see that you did love our service. Our team is committed to Providing each guest genuine hospitality. Again, thank you for sharing your feedback and we hope to have the opportunity to better serve you in the near future.

I’m not sure why this hotel get mediocre reviews. I almost didn’t stay there because of the reviews. It is a large hotel that is well appointed and welcoming. Every single staff member I interacted with was friendly and professional. The room had obviously been recently renovated. It was well appointed and clean. The bed was very comfortable. I had breakfast at the restaurant. The service was prompt and professional. The food was very good. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again.

I was at a three day meeting at this hotel. The Starbucks in the lobby was handy. The people working were relatively pleasant. The parking lot requires paying. The meeting rooms were pretty nice. The food served was ok, nothing outstanding. The public bathroom had water leaking and needed some maintenance. Overall the hotel was fine.

We are loyal to our Marriott chain hotels, but this one was not a favorite by far. The hotel did not seem clean and there was very little hand sanitizer available. The gym area has no sanitizer and had no cleaning wipes for equipment. The stairclimber was broken too and no one at front desk seemed to realize it was even broken when mentioned. After telling them about lack of hand sanitizer and wipes, which they mentioned had been reported previously, they still had none for the two remaining days of our stay. The rooms set up is a little odd. There is ample storage which is nice, but to access the coffee maker and mini fridge, the bathroom sliding door must be closed. And if someone is in bathroom and another person accessing the mini fridge, the person at mini fridge can easily be hit with the door when the person leaving bathroom walks out. The best part of the stay was the breakfast buffet and we received vouchers because of our Marriott status to eat there. Food was good with staff being attentive and polite.

We requested a mobile key and did check in via a the app. Room was requested for 9:00pm. We arrived after 10 and room key wasn’t available. Went to desk and was given a room that had not been cleaned. In the era of Covid, completely unacceptable.

Where to start... I’ll just say it: This is the worst representation of a Marriott brand we’ve ever been to. Staying here for Cinderella pageant, we knew it’d be busy; but had no idea the hotel didn’t even attempt to prepare. The bell hop(1) explained to us that he was the only one working, and that he was off most of the week...(???) No towels, no wash cloths, no room cleaning period. Every day, we had to call in an attempt to get them, and every day, we were handed nothing. Once, I was told(at 11pm), that if wanted any, I’d have to come to the front desk to get em... Unbelievable! Then, when asking for just one room cleaning half way through the week, just to keep things a little in check, no one ever showed. They had 3 cleaning ladies the whole week. They’d start on the bottom floor early, and quit wherever they got to wherever they quit. The front desk help was non existent as well. Funny thing was, while the pageant was there, there’d be 1 or maybe 2 at the desk, with a long line of people: the day everyone checked out, there were 4 people standing at the front desk chatting away, and no one in line. The restaurant was terrible as well. I realize this is not The Four Seasons, but a half decent restaurant would’ve been a welcomed one. Oh, and the pool? Yea, it got shut down after a couple of days. Of course, there was no service there either; and no towels, and dark hot lounge chairs.... pitiful. This hotel knew this event was happening months before; but did not prepare. And I’m sure they don’t care either way what the patron thinks; just look at the negative reviews. Save yourself the disappointment of your traveling lifetime, and just book elsewhere. This hotel is a joke: If I could give it zero stars. I would....

We were in Dallas for a soccer tournament and this was the hotel the team recommended. It was close to grocery stores, shopping and restaurants which was very convenient. The hotel on the outside looks a little older, but the inside is nicely updated. The pool was on the small side for the size of the hotel, but it wasn’t busy so it wasn’t a big deal. The staff were very kind and accommodating. I requested a late check-out so my son could shower after his soccer game and before getting on a plane back to New Jersey. They didn’t even hesitate! A little kindness goes a long way. Thank you!

Had a wonderful time at the hotel and Judy at the front desk went above my expectations in helping us get a great room last minute. Nice clean rooms, everything was perfect. Hope to stay there again next year for Addison's Kaboom Town. We watched the fireworks from the 14th floor.

Got to the hotel. I had booked through the Bonvoy app. At the check in we noticed that the pool was closed. We had picked this Hotel based on the fact that they had a pool and hot tub. I voiced my concerns and said I might want to find another property based off this information but was told it was too late to cancel. Felt like a bait and switch. I was then informed of the $15 self parking fee (valet was not available and I didn't see a garage though the app lists all 3). I asked if she could waive the parking since the pool was closed. She said since the app didn't show it she would accommodate. Inside of the lobby and common areas are very tired. Outside looks dated. Saving grace was our room was renovated but had a bad taste in my mouth from the check in. When getting onto the wifi the page said it would be $12 a day unless you signed into your Bonvoy account. I never saw anywhere to sign in. When checking out I made sure to ask if I was charged for internet (I wasn't) but my bill had the $15 parking fee on there. I said it should have been removed. I was immediately asked who told me they would waive the parking. I described who checked us in and she said she would follow up. I never heard back and the charge for parking never showed up. I won't return to this hotel.

I love Addison....it is a welcoming suburb of Dallas that is so upbeat...and right in the heart of the town stands the Addison Renaissance hotel. The property is so conveniently located, you don't even need a car to get around. There's got to be two or three dozen eclectic eateries within walking distance on Belt line Rd. There are two movie theaters within a stones throw too. If you have ever stayed at this Renaissance before...you will not recognize it. They have completely restored and updated everything, including all of the rooms & lobby. It is down right gorgeous.
