Well, I was placed in a renovated room and at first, I was excited. Then the problems started. Checked into the room and the temperature was 76 which was hot considering the temp that day was 78. Turned it down to 70. The room never cooled down past 73. Called for maintenance. They came and turned the AC down to 60. It took a day and a half for the room to finally cool down to 69. Another problem: The bathroom sink water was cloudy. (Pic below). I have a video as well of the cloudy water. Not sure if the water was safe to drink. Went to the front desk and spoke with Febby. She is awesome, by the way. She offered to add 10,000 points to my Marriot account (which I have yet to see). She also offered to switch rooms which I wasn't sure would fix the issue with the water. They sent someone up from Maintainance that left a note saying "they checked the water supply"? Not even sure what that means but they left two bottles of water, which at that point I had bought my own water. I am absolutely disgusted about what I could've ingested by drinking the sink water. In the video, there is clearly some particles floating around in the water. Maybe from the renovation which I was told they were renovating the rooms and the plumbing! BEWARE FOLKS!

I came to Addison for a weekend conference. This hotel was recommended by the organizers of the conference. I was warmly welcomed. The lobby and bar area is a little aged, but is comfortable and clean. The room was basic, but clean. I was a little disappointed, at first, but the room served its purpose. I was barely in it, but to sleep. Bed was comfortable, temperature was perfect. What struck me was the service! I almost felt like I was at a tropical all-inclusive resort! Every single person I encountered was kind, welcoming, polite, and very accommodating. Maybe it’s a Texas thing, but I am in awe of the people I encountered on my visit.

Well this was disappointing for a renaissance property. Let's stay with the pros: Ivan and the vallet guy were amazing, lobby is nice, Starbucks and gift shops. checkout was fast and painless. Cons: had a major event the weekend we stayed here and I'm guessing most of the staff called off. There was only one person checking people in, the line was long and exhausting, it took me calling for towels twice before they could have someone deliver them, attempted to eat in the restaurant, waiter told us to hold on and he would clear the table. He never returned, found a manager she was apologetic, and was cleaning the table and says, "It will be an hour wait on the kitchen" there was literally 5 people in the dining area maybe room service was busy not sure. The room was mediocre at best. Bathroom could really use an update. It looked like they started upgrading the bathroom and just haven't gotten to the tub yet.

My company held a sales meeting here. While the staff went above and beyond, the accommodations were marginal at best. Had two days with no hot water and elevators were extremely slow. I waited over 8 minutes for one! Bar lobby drinks were very expensive for what you got. Meeting rooms - very warm and at one point, we had to leave due to gas fumes. This hotel needs a significant over haul.

OMG! This place is awesome. We were pleasantly surprised at check in. They got me a discount at the place we were going to enjoy our 20th wedding anniversary at Kenny's Wood Fired Grill. They also, got us to sit at the Captain's Table there, and they gave us Champagne as a surprise. A shout out to Sabrina who checked me in and did a great job giving me all the bells and whistles she could can and being so professional and friendly, and for George who was with her to get me the Captain's Table at Kenny's Wood Fired Grill. This place is wonderful... I am a new fan and I'm going to discard my Hilton membership! LOL
