Located on the shores of Norris Reservoir, Lake Norris has been designated as the cleanest lake in the Tennessee Valley Authority and is now operated by Recreation Resource Management. The campground is named for Loyston Point at Point 19 on the Reservoir. Come visit the beautiful Loyston Point Campground and Day Use Area on Lake Norris in the foothills of the Appalachian Chain. Loyston Point offers a safe place to park your RV or pitch a tent. Most campsites have a lake view, with many sites on the waterfront, plus there are many trees and grassy areas. There are a total of 64 campsites; of these, 59 have electric hookups. We offer restrooms with heated showers and flush toilets. A fill and dump station is also provided. Loyston Point now offers furnished cabins for rent which offer a beautiful view of Norris Lake and the surrounding forest setting. Community water stations are close by.

Loyston is our GOTO for a known Wonderful time. Always greeted with Great Smile and treated as though they all know us from our childhood. We stayed in site 13 this time...our favorite, we paddle board and launching from there is perfect.
Lisa and Bobby are great and make us always feel welcome..they love our Sheltie Mac and really seem like family.
The faculties are immaculate...Jack and Joan work tirelessly to assure the patrons have an at home feel for cleanliness and neatness of the sites and facilities. They too, are as family and truly enjoy seeing and speaking with them during our stays.
For a great time..this is a keeper and we look forward to being there again this season.

My best friend and I stayed here because we could get a camp site on the lake and swim right off our campsite. We did not want to be bothered with going to the swimming area. This campground was much more than that! The staff was beyond friendly! They sell ice and firewood on the campground making it so easy for us never to leave. The camp manager even gave my friend and I a ride back to our campsite because we couldn't carry the ice and firewood in one trip. She also gave us an onion from her house because we ran out. They rent kayaks and such on the campground so once again you don't have to leave, but our friendly neighbors offered to let us borrow theirs instead. This really was a phenomenal stay on the clearest lake in Tennessee!!

+1
We love Loyston, most sites are water view if not waterfront, and we love having the access from our site to swim and kayak at will. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
The restrooms are kept very clean, and they added 2 "Shower/toilet/sink" private shower rooms ot the central shower house a few years ago that are a nice touch, beside the standard ones with a couple of stalls and a shower and sink. We have never been disappointed in cleanness of the showers or the property in general.
We camp here twice a year, and this past spring my family came from Canada to camp with us there, and loved it.
There are paddle boat and other types of rentals, and I have never been in the cabins, but they are waterfront also.

We’ve stayed here twice and it’s quickly becoming one of our favorite camping destinations. The campsites are spacious, with beautiful views of Norris Lake. If you’re after plenty of shade, 36 is a great site, along with 9, 10 and 61. For waterfront sites, we like 12, 13 and 60. There’s a small beach area for swimming, and you can also rent kayaks and paddle boards. The campground (and bath house) is incredibly clean, and the staff couldn’t be any nicer. If you don’t feel like cooking, check out nearby Gametime Pizza and La Sierra Mexican Restaurant - great food and great prices. Already looking forward to our next visit to Loyston Point!

Very clean campground. Awesome staff. We loved our stay and our kids enjoyed the water and fishing. We had to stop by the camp store for some basic needs and it is well stocked. Everything we needed was there and the staff were responsive to our questions and needs. We will definitely be back.

Just had our first stay here! The staff was excellent☆. She even brought a container of worms to our site and wouldn't take the money for them because they did not have them 2 times when we stopped by to purchase them. Sites are very spacious. Bathrooms were immaculate. Beautiful lake views from most spots. Will definitely stay again.

This was our second trip to Loyston Point and was very happy with our stay. The facilities are simple yet well maintained and managed. Shower and restroom facilities very well maintained. The campground store well equipped with the necessary camping supplies. The campground hosts are some of the nicest and most helpful I’ve ever met. I had an issue with my reservation that was my fault, yet they were more than happy to help me get it corrected! I will definitely make third trip next year!
PS.. This is one of the quietest campgrounds I’ve been to in over 30 yrs of camping!!

Highly recommended‼️Loyston Point Campground 🏕 is one of the best campgrounds I have ever stayed at. I called 5 different campgrounds to find availability for my family to camp. Most of the campsite managers were rude and absolutely no help. The managers at Loyston point are friendly and VERY helpful!! 🙏🙏 The campground is clean, well maintained, and absolutely beautiful. My family will be going back soon.

There is electric in cabins. There are no bathrooms in the cabins, but a porta potty in that area serviced weekly and cleaned daily. Most people prefer to drive to the bathhouses, but it is walkable.

Please note, you will need to bring your own bedding and towels. Campsites have a fire ring/grill combo. Thank you!
Site 55. Had a great view, only because site across road was not taken. There was one shade tree, which was very nice at a certain time of the day.
$59 night. 2 night minimum
