If you're visiting downtown Aiken, Rose HIll is a must. Even if you come during business hours just to view the grounds (which are awesome gardens), you will be drawn in by the charm of the place. The manager is super friendly and helpful and the food was very good. My boyfriend and I both enjoyed our meals and we... More

Rose Hill Estate was a delightful overnight stop for our trip from Charleston to Atlanta last week. Our room was comfortable and spacious and we enjoyed looking out over the garden at the beautiful azaleas and camellias. Our dinner at the Stables Restaurant was perfectly cooked with excellent service and atmosphere. The German beer list is amazing. We enjoyed the... More

We stayed three nights and when we arrived we were the only guests. The reservation was for a Standard King with private bathroom at the rate shown on the website. The room was exceptionally small, much too small for a king-size bed, with no room for bags and only one straight chair that certainly wasn't made for relaxing. The bathroom... More

Outstanding B and B (and event location for weddings, etc). Owners have done a great job updating many features. Room was very comfortable and evening bar area is a well known hang out for the towns muckie-mucks due to its beautiful wood, lead glass window and fireplace. Steve and Eva should be very proud of this place!

This is an utterly wonderful Inn. Stephen and his mother and their staff gave us the warmest of welcomes. The rooms are exceptionally comfortable, the dinner in the Stables (well, actually al fresco) was delicious and good value, and the breakfast was excellent. If you want a slick, impersonal experience there is another Inn in Aiken, but if you want... More

We had a wonderful experience booking a workshop for managers at Rose Hill. Our event planner, Kena was knowledgeable, flexible and a pleasure to work with from start to finish. This property exudes the charm of Aiken and was the perfect spot for both local and out-of-town attendees. Having the Stables restaurant on-site allowed us to get out of our... More

This has to be one of the coolest places I've stayed. The main highlights: (1) food was delicious, (2) olde parlor room is beyond relaxing (great place to grab a drink), (3) home's rich history, and (3) location (less than 5 minutes from downtown). Lastly and most importantly, Eva and Steve do a wonderful job running this family business.

We stayed at Rose Hill Estates after a long day on the road. We booked in advance knowing we wanted a comfortable place to relax before we hit the road again the next day. We loved the Inn- its decor, the roaring fire (literally), the leather chairs, and chatting with a glass of wine. The room was quiet with a... More

We stayed here for a quick weekend getaway and I was amazed at the beauty of the Estate and gardens. All of the guestrooms are furnished with antiques, there's a club room with a bar, lots of architectural details to delight in... meandering garden paths with benches that beckon the visitor to stay and linger for a while... Why there's... More

There are those rare places that loom large in your memory, where life shows you its glorious possibilities, full of beauty and grace. Rose Hill was that place for us. My wife and I spent two wonderful days there in October, relaxing in the club room, walking the gardens, wandering through downtown Aiken, being spoiled by Stephen and Eva. Their... More
