This hotel is aptly named. It deserves all the accolades it receives and has received. The rooms are large, the furniture and beds are comfortable , the breakfasts were tasty and the customer service outstanding. We loved it and will definitely return.

Second time here...stayed 4 nights instead of 3 this time! What I love about it: amazing history and the meticulous renovation is well-documented and available for those who are interested -- it's on the historic register. Unique, comfy and peaceful indoor and outdoor spaces to relax alone or with a partner. Delicious breakfast included in price; we love to sit... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for the delightful review. We do very much value guest feedback and I am glad that you enjoyed the new luxury mattress in your guest room (all six rooms received new high end mattresses in 2016). We hope that you can join us again very soon! - Michael More

We love the Peerless Hotel! The hotel's customer service; it's unique interior design and it's location are tops. We park our car and walk everywhere. Located behind the hotel is a parking area for guests, so you don't have to park on the main street. On our first visit, several years ago, we enjoyed a stay in Room 2. We... More

We love the Peerless Hotel. Each room is unique and comfortable and beautiful. Breakfasts are great. Easy walking distance to town and OSF. We have been staying here at least once a year for several years now, and are welcomed back like family.

Ashland has some quaint spots and this is one. We Stayed one night only as the bed was uncomfortable and needs to be replaced. The bathroom and jetted tub was a treat. Overall it is a Sweet spot in a quiet area of town.

Had a quaint room on the first floor. Sadly it looked out a scruffy alley so shades drawn. Breakfasts are good and the restaurant next door is first rate. Spent late afternoons in the backyard in a chaise reading. Doesn't get better than that.

This place was a fantastic stay. The room was spotless and beautiful. The location was a short walk into town and has a great breakfast in the morning with your stay. They were very accommodating if you had a food allergy or dislike for something.

This is a gem of a place. On a very quiet street, yet close to all of the wonderful shops and restaurants in Ashland. Our room was a step back in time, the attention to detail in the decor was stunning. Service was excellent. We will definitely stay at the Peerless again when we visit Ashland.

What we like best is the location in the residential part of Ashland, a few blocks away from all the sights but still in a quiet neighborhood. The Peerless is a quaint old hotel refurbished like Laura Ashley on speed: stuffed with gimcracks and frills, where more is more. Lovely additions include a sitting room with comfy chairs, windows, tea... More

We loved the Peerless and will absolutely stay w them the next time we are in Ashland. It has a great location, walking close to everything but in a quiet neighborhood. Michael and staff were great. We asked for some vegan choices at breakfast and instead of the usual granola and fruit we enjoyed a killer tofu scramble w spinach... More
