A lovely place to stay. Great rooms, excellent food and Innkeepers Anna and Brian who strive to make your stay as pleasing and comfortable as possible. We were a family of 11 gathering from different parts of the country. It was a special time together in a special setting.
Our lavender room was lovely. The bed, linen, and pillows were very comfortable. All the little extras were there. It is a cozy place and breakfast was wonderful. We love their coffee machine. So much better experience than any hotel.
If you are in Ashland you truly need to stay at Oak Hill B&B! You will feel right at home the moment you walk in! The farmhouse is so homey and comfortable, the owners are also welcoming and very accommodating, I have tried the rooms are very clean and charming, not to mention very comfortable! Their outside deck is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a beverage, read, play a game, etc. The breakfast was to die for! So yummy! If you like coffee you will love their coffee/espresso machine, hot chocolate and tea available too. Highly recommend!
Every little detail was considered-- the truffles, the sustainable toiletries, the fluffy terry robes, a guest fridge for take out left overs, the light-reducing curtains atop quality blinds, cookies soft & fresh, waiting for you after a long journey or night out... Home's decor was exquisite-- cozy, artistic flair, unique objets! Too, this home was gleaming with cleanliness. Both hosts are mindful of Covid protocols, and have taken steps to ensure the highest state of cleanliness, as well as carefully stocked sanitizer areas and extra masks. Ooooooh, that grand espresso/cap/coffee & tea station was magnificent. Everything one might need for many hot beverages was on hand. The coffee is of a high quality. (I enjoy great coffee in my home; this was even more enjoyable than my own.) They have a plethora of pamphlets, maps and brochures of attractions in the near and far vicinity. I enjoyed early morning sessions of planning my days by a warm fire, sipping a fabulous Cafe Americano. They've included a thoroughly organized list of recommended eateries in town-- and there are numerous ones from which to choose! Anna knew we had planned to pack a lunch to take to the mountain. She not only recommended a fabulous sandwich place nearby, but offered cooler & cold packs. Hosts Brian & Anna are delightful conversationalists and marvelous chefs! You'll want to invite them to sit at the breakfast table for rousing conversation! And after your stay, you will dash home and attempt to duplicate their sumptuous offerings fruit dishes, scones and innovative breakfast cuisine items, of which, I won't divulge the names...you'll have to find out for yourselves ;-)…
We had a wonderful stay at the Oak Hill Bed & Breakfast. The lavender room was cozy, well stocked, and very comfortable. The breakfast was incredibly tasty and the hosts were accommodating for our dietary needs.
As always, Anna and Brian are amazing hosts. They are so gracious and make each guest feel welcome. we have been going to the B&B for 16 years. Each time we return it feels like home. The breakfasts are outstanding. The protocols they have in place made us feel safe and allowed us to have a fabulous time. We will be back in the Spring!!
Oak Hill is a lovely and very well-maintained bed and breakfast inn. Anna is friendly and accommodating, and her breakfasts are made from scratch and delicious. Our room was well-appointed and comfortable. We met Anna’s husband Brian the last day we were there and he was also friendly and nice to talk to. They both made us feel welcome and made good recommendations for restaurants and things to do and see.
Staying at Oak Hill BnB is like being home. The hosts are very welcoming, and the rooms are quiet and relaxing. Breakfasts are made to order, and are always amazing! I look forward to visiting there again.
We recently spent two nights at Oak Hill and loved our stay. The house is meticulously maintained with a beautiful back deck and front porch. The coffee and breakfasts that Anna made were so well-rounded and tasty! Perfect, centrally located, Ashland spot.
Anna & Brian are amazing hosts and their breakfasts, espresso, cookies and evening port represent their wonderful hospitality. Oak Hill is where we have chosen to stay in Ashland without exception for the last several years. They offer exceptional outdoor seating areas for dining or relaxing in the garden, as well.
