What a lovely inn. We were upstairs, in the Vista room. We looked at all of them. They were all so nice, it was difficult to decide which one to choose. Nice touches like Gilcrest body lotion and shampoo. Wine in the afternoon. Breakfast was phenomenal and generous, I couldn’t even eat lunch that day Vicky and Greg are friendly and professional. We hope to stay here again.

My husband and I first stayed at the Iris Inn in 2015, and we liked it so much that we have returned every year since! The rooms are very comfortable, beautifully furnished, completely clean and bright. The breakfasts are truly the best breakfasts we've had anywhere -- something different each morning and always delicious. There is a wonderful living room for reading the newspapers (the Inn gets the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal, in addition to the local paper) or reading the great information the Inn provides about the plays. The other guests tend to be avid theater lovers, which makes for lively and enjoyable discussions. The owners and their staff are all warm, caring, and interesting people, very knowledgeable about the Ashland area, with great recommendations for things to do and places to have a great dinner. Highly recommended!

I stay in the Iris Inn twice a year when I drive up to see plays at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival with friends. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the breakfasts are outstanding!! Vicki and her staff are so nice and helpful, I can’t imagine staying anywhere else when I’m in Ashland.

After a long drive north from the Bay Area, the front porch of the Iris Inn in Ashland was an inviting sight. After Vicki’s warm welcome and instructions, we couldn’t wait to settle into the comfortable porch sofa and sip our wine. We were in the “Blue” room, and it was absolutely perfect in every respect. There wasn’t anything forgotten in providing amenities for our stay. It seems a small thing, but there were even two folding suitcase holders, one for each of us. That was a first! The breakfasts for our two-day stay were filling and delicious. We especially liked the French toast made with their home baked strawberry bread. Wine in the afternoon and chocolate and port or sherry after the theatre completed the offerings. Finally, the location of the Inn was ideal for walking downtown or to Lithia Park, and to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival venues. We’ll return!

The Iris Inn is a lovely B&B, conveniently located within walking distance of the Plaza. The inn is over 100 years old, but the rooms have every modern convenience, while being furnished with Victorian pieces. It also has a magnificent garden, with several chairs; it's a great place to sit on a sunny afternoon. The complimentary wine in the afternoon is a nice touch. The innkeeper, Vicki, was very friendly and helpful, and went out of her way to be of assistance. The breakfast was excellent. This is truly an outstanding B&B. The rooms are on the second floor, so be prepared to carry your suitcases up a flight of stairs,
