We got our first trip to Ashland and our home away from home for the football season on Saturday September 7th. Although we lost the game, our short stay at Lithia always make the weekend more enjoyable. From the welcome from Donovan, to the comfortable room, and including the remarkable grounds, the stay was as always top notch. We especially appreciate the simple but great breakfast when we stay there. We are looking to four more trips at least this fall and especially those when we spend a couple of nights.

Property's Favorite Review
Decided to visit Oregon for the first time and someone recommended Ashland for the Shakespeare Festival. So glad I researched it because I came across this gem of a resort. I can’t say enough about the friendly staff including the front desk lady (sorry I didn’t get your name), Rosa who make excellent breakfast every morning, and Joseph who was a fantastic sommelier. We had a patio bungalow next to the pool. We loved the in-room mineral baths and all the special touches such as robes, complimentary water, spring water spicket, comfy bed, coffee in the room, etc! The grounds were impeccable! The landscapers did an amazing job everywhere you turned! The trees, flowers, vines, fountains, koi pond, bridges, etc. were a feast to the eyes! We enjoyed afternoon tea, wine tasting with Joseph, but didn’t get a chance to enjoy the spa. Maybe next time. Also, there is easy access to Bear Creek Greenway bike path, which is a gorgeous paved trail along the creek. Can’t wait to go back!

A quiet, tranquil resort near the center of Ashland, Lithia Springs Resort is a slice of heaven, just outside the city center of Ashland. Tranquil, peaceful, and full of lush scenery, it's a perfect retreat for obtaining peace of mind. It has lovely, appointed rooms, a full service spa, pool, and wine garden with a sommelier who truly knows the local wineries and a complimentary breakfast (and staff) to make your morning. The front desk staff was exceptionally accommodating, the master gardener (Nana Beester) is friendly and knowledgeable, and the other staff members just as cordial. I cannot recommend this place enough, at the expense of it becoming too well known...but I digress. Go, go, stay here!!!

Terrible governance, no warmth or soul which obviously effected staff, grounds, rooms and other areas of resort. The owner needs to begin surprise inspections of cleanliness, maintenance and upkeep of hotel. No excuses. Cleaning staff need to be doing their work and not lounging or “hanging” out with other staff in back office, behind front desk, behind the hotel or in other areas of the property. Here’s a list of some of the issues during the resort stay: -Tubs in rooms filthy, dead skin, dirt. They are not clean period! - The screens on bathroom windows torn and exposed meaning it wasnt difficult to break into a room.
- Poor ventilation in bathroom, leaving it with a mildew smell, sink had a dirt film with shower having a quick wipe down- obvious seeing the towel marks.
- Extra linen also not clean and dusty.
- Rooms are dust central (yes rooms, had the displeasure of seeing more than one room). -Dust and cobwebs (very large ones, especially by the window IN the rooms, closets and bathroom). -Under the bed was filthy with dirt and dust looked like it had been forgotten about by the Cleaning Staff.
- Staff very unmannerly. A little two faced, blame one another when guests report issues. No cooperation and lack professionalism. -Cleaning staff enjoy sitting in the tea room during the guest tea time and do no remove themselves for the guests. -Pool and outdoor hot tub requires considerable maintenance and cleaning. Too many deceased flies, bugs, etc... to count. Pool Towels dirty, with dirty ones kept in pool area for a day plus. -Hot water issues in rooms, lack of hot water. -WiFi. Not able to connect even using own phone carrier or the resorts. -Breakfast very terrible. Cold food, old coffee-even at 9 am. Very little options. One plastic container with fruit (for all guests and was bought at a supermarket) -no fresh fruit, potatoes cold, bacon burnt and greasy, quiche really bad. Overall- cheap and not flavorful. -So many ground areas unkept, half of lawns mowed, lawn chairs broken, heartbreaking from how the property had been maintained in the past. Owner of property needs to take responsibility and manager needs to make no excuses. Spoke many times to front desk clerk, who could not provide assistance and said talk to manager, even simple tasks or questions. Spoke to manager who appears to see the issues but my guess may not have the support or experience to handle the many property and staff issues.

Save your money and soul folks. I will not recommend this resort. Even with any specials or if given a free room, it’s not worth your time...you deserve better. A so-called resort like this —-that should be catering to wellness & healing but absolutely does not appear to care for their guests or property is not worth a stay.

We stopped here for just one night, and enjoyed the lovely gardens throughout the property. Our bungalow was spacious and nicely decorated. We used the hot tub by the pool -- very large and hot! Overall, a great stay. Only negative was that the housekeeper came to our door in the morning, prior to our check-out. She should have waited til after we left. Breakfast room was very pleasant, and the hot breakfast was nice - wish there had been bacon as well as the sausage. Would stay here again next time we visit the area.

Dear Ral w. Thank you for this review, and for the helpful feedback as well. I will make sure our housekeeping manager is aware or your note to us, and I am sorry for that disturbance. And for future stays, we do offer bacon and sausage on alternating days to provide variety. If there is anything else that we should be aware of, please do not hesitate to reach out. Hope to see you again soon! Sincerely, Shayna Marie Resort Manager
