Each year my husband and I travel to Ashland for the Shakespeare Festival and have always stayed at the Stratford Inn, just as my mother did for years. It is always clean, quiet, comfortable. The front desk people are always cheerful and helpful. This year, the Inn has started renovating the rooms, one of which we got this year. They...

Great place to stay in Ashland -- nice to be close to downtown. Loved the cheerful ambience at the cafe. Appreciated the fresh food choices at breakfast bar too. Rooms were comfortable and very good lighting in bathroom!

Room was very clean. The desk person was not friendly, acted like he was upset that we arrived on his shift. In addition, breakfast was not open until 7 AM and we were leaving at 6:30 AM. The woman at the desk the morning we left was very pleasant!

The hotel is in tiptop shape. Everything from the pool to the coffee shop to the beds was first rate and immaculate. It's a bit of a walk to downtown for older people or in the rain. The room was very clean, quiet and equipped with everything we needed--including a night light which is rare in a hotel. On top of...

Roomy guest rooms equipped with fridge, microwave and coffee maker make eating in easy. Wi-Fi and a wide selection of cable channels are available. Indoor pool and spa are open from early morning until late at night. A light, but very adequate complimentary buffet breakfast is provided.

Rooms were clean and had most things you would expect. Pretty basic but nice enough. Pool was neat but small. Hot tub was too small for more than 3 people to have a comfortable distance between them. Front desk staff ranged from curt to pleasant. Not bad but not fantastic. Nice to have a free but limited breakfast available, and...

We stay here every year and were happy to see that the rooms have been updated since last year. The eating area, on the other hand, where hotel guests serve themselves complimentary breakfast, has gone a bit downhill. The room is small, very warm, and since the opening of the adjacent very upscale cafe to the public, one gets the...

It was a bit more of a walk to the theater than in most of our 29 years coming to Ashland but we found the extra walking invigorating and not at all problematic. In fact, after all this time, we're thinking of making this our default accommodation in the future. We do have to say that the free breakfast was...

Pleased with location--easy walk to theatre. We had very large corner room and large bathroom. Complimentary breakfast was very low quality. Time for them to invest in that as well as update all hallway carpets.

The was a very nice and comfortable place to stay. The accommodations were great and the price was right. It's location was very convenient for walking the town and checking out the various shops. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay in Ashland and the Stratford Inn made that possible.
