It was a bit more of a walk to the theater than in most of our 29 years coming to Ashland but we found the extra walking invigorating and not at all problematic. In fact, after all this time, we're thinking of making this our default accommodation in the future. We do have to say that the free breakfast was...

Pleased with location--easy walk to theatre. We had very large corner room and large bathroom. Complimentary breakfast was very low quality. Time for them to invest in that as well as update all hallway carpets.

The was a very nice and comfortable place to stay. The accommodations were great and the price was right. It's location was very convenient for walking the town and checking out the various shops. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay in Ashland and the Stratford Inn made that possible.

We stayed here this weekend to attend the Shakespeare play. The hotel is old but clean. It is within walking distance to the theaters, shopping, and many restaurants. They have free parking and share a parking lot with a great Tuscan restaurant. Cucina Biazzi. The breakfast at the hotel is meager but adequate. Ask about the wine tasting on Friday...

We have stayed here several times in the past while visiting Ashland for the theater and wineries. This hotel has large, comfortable rooms with a small frig and a microwave, a pool and free WiFi and parking -- all at a good price. It is only a 10 minute walk to the the Oregon Shakespeare Festival theaters so one does...

We almost always stay at the Stratford Inn when we are in Ashland. It is within walking distance of many restaurants and shops, Lithia Park, the Oregon Shakespeare Festival theatres. The rooms are nice-sized, the staff is friendly and efficient. We keep coming back!

This hotel is very nice, has free parking and an indoor pool. Also breakfast is included, which is nice. The rooms are a nice size and in good shape. Only slight downside is that it is a pretty long walk to the Shakespeare events, but it's doable, so you can avoid parking elsewhere.

There are posher lodgings, for sure, in Ashland. There are places closer to OSF or the college. The Stratford is always my family's first choice. Comfortable rooms, nice people, a lovely walk in to OSF. The only drawbacks are a breakfast room that is too small and the noise when a couple of tour buses unload - bring your "white...

Thank you very much! We are happy to hear you enjoyed your experience. Unfortunately tour buses full of people can be quite loud, but we are glad that your overall stay was enjoyable.

This is our last stop on a road trip, and we've had a couple doozies in our hotels along the way. Stratford Inn is a pleasant place to spend the night. This is our second time staying here, and we will probably choose to stay here again next time we pass through Ashland. Our room is on the back, so...

Updated very nicely since our last visit. There is now a coffee shop in the hotel. This is living! We will definitely return. Staff were courteous and helpful. Nearby gym was nice, and easy for guests to use.
