I stayed at College House for three nights while attending a conference at the university, and it is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed at. Kathy is the perfect host, who went above and beyond to make sure I enjoyed my stay (even drove me to a restaurant for dinner and took me out to see the...

I'm an AU alum, and me and one of my former AU roommates return every few years for Homecoming. We've stayed here twice in the History Room and it is always great. For two friends on a girls weekend the twin beds are perfect! Kathy takes time to talk to each guest at breakfast, and the food is outstanding and...

The house was clean and well decorated. Every amenity you could imagine was available, both in the common areas as well as in the ensuite. The breakfast looked like it belonged in Bon Apetit and tasted like it came from a four-star restaurant. The innkeeper is charming and made me feel very comfortable. This B&B rivals those in Ireland! It...

We stayed at the College House B & B recently when visiting family in Ashland for a funeral. The room upstairs was perfect for my husband, three year old and myself. The breakfasts were delicious and the atmosphere was so peaceful and relaxing. Kathy, the owner, was friendly and very kind to our daughter. She made our stay enjoyable despite...

We traveled to Ashland for my college graduation. We had booked our room at College House B & B almost 9 months before, since Ashland is a small town and there aren't many quality places to stay. Here's the hot/ugly: We arrived to Ashland we found that the town was in a record heat wave of 90 plus degree temperatures....

Thank you for being such an accommodating guest! The furnace repair guy said the compressor melted--he made me come out to see it because apparently it was very impressive. Summers have been freezing in here ever since. (And I've also picked up a couple more AC units just in case it happens again.)

My son and I stayed at the College House while we were on our way to visit nearby Ashland University for a tour. The College House is only about 100 yards from the university, and on a quiet, peaceful, tree lined street. There was plenty of parking, right in front of the B&B and in a nearby alley. The owner,...

We stayed this weekend and had the Music Room. The room was wonderful -- plenty of space and a heated floor in the bathroom. Breakfast was fantastic both mornings, and we loved chatting with the owner, Kathy. She was so welcoming and gave us a great dinner suggestion for Friday. The house is also located on a beautiful tree-lined street,...

My husband and I just stayed here for the third time in 3 years. Our son attended Ashland University and after we stayed the first time, there was no question about where we would stay on our subsequent trips. As others have stated, Kathy is friendly, attentive, and a fabulous cook. She has the gift of balancing her guests' privacy...

We stayed twice --once in Nov and again in December. Such a delightful place. Kathy's twin boys are an added delight. In Nov, we arrived in time for a tornado warning, basement served us well. The December trip was post surgery. Music room was very comfortable,

A wonderful place to stay with comfortable beds, the warmest hospitality and a fantastic breakfast. If you have any reason to spend the night in Ashland (or anyplace else in the area-- including Mohican State Park) do yourself a favor and book a room there. We included our children for their first bed and breakfast experience and they loved it,...
