Had an excellent dinner created by a great chef. Additionally it was very reasonable and presented by a very personable waitress. Highly recommend since also nice environment. Small town so traffic is not an issue and s handicap accessible.
My son was attending a soccer camp at ONU so we decided to stay on campus at The Inn. Heather was extremely helpful and accommodating with our check out needs. Every staff member we interacted with was very kind and helpful. Because of the length of the camp and COVID, there wasn’t much to do but hang out in the lobby after checkout. Dustin (?? at the front desk) overheard my boredom discussion and kindly offered me a map of the University’s “Green Monster” track - it passed the time, but I do not recommend on a 95° day. And last but not least, Chelsea at the Pub was so nice!! After my defeat at the hands of the “Green Monster”, she was very attentive and offered additional water. The Inn was beautiful, clean, and everything looked new. The room was exactly what we needed and included a small gift bag of snack goodies. I highly recommend the Sunshine Package which includes dinner and breakfast. The food was very good. Every staff member wore a mask and precautions were made with breakfast, lunch, and dinner service. I know it sounds like I’m gushing over a hotel, but this was really one of the nicest places we’ve stayed - and the nicest people too. It may be a little more pricey than other hotels, but it’s worth it - especially if you have something at the university. …
The internet log-in procedure is a 10+ yr old configuration process. Then when you get in.... its ridiculously slow. At $170/night..... we can certainly expect modern internet. Total pia when im trying to get work done.
The Inn has a comfortable an cozy restaurant and bar featuring several tasty appetizers, sandwiches, and entrees. The salads are wonderfully prepared, and there are always innovative drink specials at the bar.
This hotel has spacious rooms with many amenities (microwave, mini frig, coffee maker, safe, towel warmer). Our room did not have a bathtub, but instead had a large shower. King room had sinks in bathroom and another sink and mirror area outside of the bathroom. Also had a table and chairs and a loveseat. Bed is firm with pillow top. Room included a breakfast buffet with our stay. Nice, courteous staff. No pool or hot tub. Hotel is clean and well maintained. Was very convenient for our short visit with our ONU student (mention this when making reservations for the ONU discounted rate). Great stay!
I stayed here for one night when my jazz trio had performed at the Inn. It was as I expected with a very clean and neat property and my room was great. There was a king bed in it and a separate sink and mirror outside the bathroom, which had its own sink and mirror along with a rainforest shower and toilet. It was very comfortable and quiet overnight. The AC unit is controlled by either the wall thermostat or on the unit itself. There were plenty of lights in the room. The TV was new and large and had a lot of channels to choose from. The only downside was a lack of HBO, an essential for me on Friday nights. There is a room safe, and that is appreciated. The staff is helpful and friendly. Breakfast comes with the room and it is good. There is a good selection of bread items as well as granola bars and hot items. The coffee was excellent. The restaurant and bar is very good and has some nice beer selections. The live music on Fridays during the Summer is outside in a patio area for folks who want to have a drink and relax. I am proud to be an ONU alum. I hope to get booked again next Summer to play so I can stay again.…
Spent Alumni event at the Inn. Very convenient to the University as right across the street from McIntosh Center and Admissions building. Nice restaurant and even a small bar in the lobby. Rooms would rival a Hyatt for features and comfort. We will definitely stay again on our next visit to ONU
Such a lovely room - such a comfortable bed and pillows and bedding! If you need to get a great night sleep, the amenities are all there! I love how the windows can be completely closed to block out all light - I don't know that I have ever stayed anywhere else that truly blacks out the room! Lots of space throughout the room - and the bathroom too! The toiletries are plentiful and do a great job! Love the coffee maker, microwave, mini-fridge.. Two separate sinks in case you are travelling with someone.. Really a great place to spend a few days!
Great entertainment in the Lobby. Fun place to meet friends and enjoy the music. Every Friday night there is entertainment. Friends meet for cocktails and dinner choices off the Pub menu. Drink choices. Great place to meet family and friends.
This was a bit more money than usually spent on hotels- but it’s the only game in town, so we booked it. (They do offer a discount code online) This is a beautiful hotel from the moment you pull up. Staff were friendly throughout the whole hotel. Then you get to the room and it was gorgeous! A large room with beautiful decor. The room is large enough to add a roll away if needed. We had a sink and make up counter separate from the bathroom, a small area for food- microwave and fridge, with cabinetry . The shower has options for a rain shower or regular shower head as well as a towel warmer . The beds were comfortable with a variety of pillow choices. It was quiet and we slept well. It was very well decorated and very clean! You get a free breakfast which had a mix of hot and cold foods .…
