I was coming thru late. Hotels not exactly plentiful in this area. I took a chance and despite some age it was a good experience. Room was small, bathroom was tiny but for a night not a bad deal at $45

The room was ok, new wood floors looked nice. The bathroom was just ok. The floors above creaked with every move made in the room above us. The beds were not comfortable but we managed to sleep well in spite of all this. The breakfast was not much with fermented apple juice and tang or some other cheap mix for orange juice. We just got a cheap feeling about this place and trust me we are not fancy people. The final clincher was their pet fees. They advertise as pet friendly but have a $25 pet deposit and a $5 pet fee. This sounds reasonable except the deposit is non refundable so in other words it costs $30 for the pet no matter if they are well behaved or not. Our little companion is small and so well behaved the room is always left just as we found it. Our family is thankful for hotels like Red Roof, La Quinta and most of the Motel 6 places that welcome us and our little furry friend and trust me most of the places I just mentioned are much nicer than Brown's.

Spacious, with hardwood floors, for $65? What a treat! We loved it. Delicious continental breakfast and a friendly staff. I need 200 characters, so I'll add that the patron playing accordian when we checked in was very nice.

You get a nice bang for your buck here. It's nothing fancy, but has a lot of what you need: free parking, free wifi, free breakfast in the morning, a microwave, a fridge, a TV -- and personally I though the bed was outstanding. There is no alarm clock, but they do wakeup calls. One other thing: the staff is very friendly. Negatives: The only one worth noting is that my room wasn't well lit. Just 2 lamps - neither very strong -- and I had to unplug one of them to use my labtop on the table. Upshot: very nice place. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd definitely stay there.

Very nice staff. Older but well maintained. Very clean. Bathroom is small but clean I'd rather have clean but if your a large person probably won't work for you. No hair dryer or ironing but they have a laundry. They Should put ironing in laundry at least. I'd stay here again. Price is great. I'm not a critic or critical of petty things so if you like perfection then you probably would complain.
