OMG, What can I say, beautiful, we had a coffee pot, refrigerator, amenities, etc, we had a couch. The staff was so nice, we got there in time just to sleep. We had a balcony with a view. We would highly recommend it.

My husband and I recently spent 4 nights at the Palm Suites. The staff was helpful and gracious. Our particular room was nicely decorated, spacious, and the bed was comfortable. Wi-Fi worked well. Kitchenette had sink, microwave, and full fridge. Pool wasn’t huge but worked well cooling me off. There were, however, some quirks which made the visit a little challenging. My particular room had a step down from the sitting area to the sleeping area. We felt this was a hazard, particularly when needing to get up in the dark of night to use the bathroom which was way across the room. We had to sleep with one of the lights on to be sure we didn’t slip or trip. Kitchen was nice, but needed to use paper plates, cups, etc. provided by the hotel. No dishes provided. Our room overlooked the parking lot and busy street. You can walk to the beach, but you need to cross the busy street. (Fortunately, Atlantic Beach has lots of parking for a fee.) Balcony was small. No room for seating. The rooms in the back of the hotel had a beautiful marshland and view of inter coastal waterway. Our favorite part of the hotel was a gazebo out in the marsh accessible by a boardwalk where we spent much of our time taking in the view and enjoying the shady breezes.…

We spent 2 days at the Palm Suites with our grandchildren. The rooms were perfect, one even had bunk beds great for two of the kids. The kitchen area and sitting area really worked out great. The staff was amazing, texting to be sure everything was good, the pool was great. My family really enjoyed their time together at the Palm Suites. The best part was when we were about half way home, I got a phone call, the cleaning people found one of our phones on the top bunk. We made arrangements to send a postage paid box to get the phone back, the staff called me as soon as they received the box, wrapped the phone so well and got it back to us the next day. I can't say enough about the customer service we received. We will absolutely be back.

The good things: The staff is helpful, friendly, and professional; the place is clean; the beds were comfortable; our room was spacious and had a microwave, refrigerator, sink, and a little sitting area; the boardwalk and picnic shelter on the salt marsh behind the hotel is a very pretty spot to sit and relax. The not so good things: Our room was damp and musty, generally pretty beat-up looking and in need of maintenance; there is no room service for a stay of 5 nights or fewer; our room was in the front of the hotel so our very small balcony was just a few feet from the parking lot. The location is not bad but the road is very busy. If I stayed again I would ask for a room in the back. The balconies are larger on that side, and they overlook the salt marsh and the sound. We did visit family in two other rooms, and they were not musty. Because the rooms are individually owned there seems to be a lot of variation in decor and maybe in quality.…

Every room is apparently outfitted and decorated differently. “Owned” by someone. Staff at the front desk “eye” you in a weird way. While public areas look nice enough, our room was lacking maintenance, didn’t feel clean. Beds uncomfortable. Linens just ok. Poor towels. Poor pillows. Shower didn’t drain properly. Ice bucket was without liner and cracked, leaking everywhere. Mr Coffee in room, but single serve little filter things. They also hit you up for additional 5$ per night, per room, to “recover” what third party vendors charge them to book. I didn’t see another option for online booking other than a third party. 10-15 minute walk to closest area of beach. 30 to central boardwalk. Couple restaurants walking distance. Pool ok, but not like in pictures. Overall, would not return here.…

We just finished staying for 5 days at the palm suites and we had an amazing time. The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating! The coffee you all provide is the absolute best! The decor makes the place. So convenient to the beach and loved going to the pool afterwards. Look forward to going back for our next stay in 3 more weeks!

I have stayed here for many years and this last time was the worst room I've ever had. This will be that last time I stay here, I've been waiting for a week for"corporate" to speak to about my last visit. You would be much better off staying at The DoubleTree Inn

When we got to the hotel we asked where the washer and dryer was. They told us. We went back down to get quarters and detergent for laundry. They gave us it. We went BACK down once more to get change as the washer kept eating up our quarters. Spent about $10 on the washer before it worked. Went back 40 mins later and all it did was pour a little water on the clothes. We went to the front desk as we had run out of quarters and were gonna ask why the washer wasn’t working. They then decided to tell us the washer was out of order since the day before. Great! They had 3 chances to tell us the washer and dryer were broken and they decided not to. All they said was “sorry.”. No money back. We had to wash the clothes in the bathtub and hang them outside to dry as we needed them the next day. They won’t be dry of course! Other than that we had a pretty hard time sleeping knowing our undergarments were hanging outside for anyone to see or take! Stay here if you don’t plan on washing anything or if you like not being told what is in order and what isn’t!…
