We didn't have time to take advantage of the bicycle or water craft rentals offered by the main office. This seems to be a condohotel. We rented a unit from an individual directly and saved a few dollars. It was a bit unusual paying for the room upfront. Renting through the real estate company may provide a more comfortable feeling...

Love Bogue Shores. Best Pool on the island. Nice suites for a couple. On the sound side, but the beach is a short walk away. The grounds are well kept. The swing over looking the Sound is really nice. Each unit is decorated different by owners. Small kitchens are perfect with full size appliances. No loud parties which is great.
